Nowadays, Garpanchkot became one of the best weekend destinations near Kolkata close to the root, nested in the Purulia & near the Panchet dam with the beautiful backdrop of Panchet hill. Garpanchkot or Garh -Panchkot was a part of the Singh Deo dynasty of Panchkot located at the southern foothills and a group of temples is still standing as mute spectators of the rise and fall of the dynasty. The temples are of different architectural styles, the principal one being a ‘Pancharatna’ temple accompanied by ‘Jor-Bangla’ type and more than one ‘Pirha’ type temple made of stone. The Pancharatna temple still carries some depleted but exquisite pieces of presumably pre-Muslim period terracotta work on its arches and pillars. 500 meters away and a bit uphill from the main ruins of the Garpanchkot lies ‘Dhara’ a perennial spring channeled through a ‘cow mouth’ made of stone.

The journey starts from Kolkata by Private Vehicle / Train /by VOLVO Bus from Esplanade Bus Stand & reach your desired destination (Asansol / Adra / Kumardubi) or Asansol Bus Stand. From the railway station or bus stand, we will take you to the Property. On arrival enjoy your welcome drink & check-in the Resort. After refreshment, you will take a delicious lunch.

After sightseeing drop at Asansol VOLVO Bus stand / Railway Station or by private vehicle direct transfer to Kolkata and drop your residence.
