Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

GUWAHATI

Kamakhya Devi Temple

Upon arrival to Guwahati Airport/Railway station you will be received by our representative, who will be waiting for a warm welcome just outside of the Rail Station/Airport. Transfer to the hotel and check in. Visit some local sightseeing places within the city and Kamakhya Darshan (depends on time). Overnight stay.

Day 2

GUWAHATI - BAGHMARA

Breakfast at hotel and check out. Start drive for a long journey to Baghmara (260km/8-9hrs), is the headquarters of the South Garo Hills district in the state of Meghalaya. The place is bordered by the Mymensingh Division of Bangladesh and is about 113 km from Tura. Check in to the hotel/homestay. Overnight stay.

Day 3

BAGHMARA - WARI CHORA - BAGHMARA

Early morning start drive to Parking. Start journey from Emangre Village towards Wari Chora (45Km/2hrs). Breakfast on the way at local restaurant (very simple and limited food) This journey by Bolero Camper from Parking lot ((it is very bad condition road so walk very carefully) - start 3km trek to reach Wari Chora. Now you can take and enjoy the boat ride on Rongdik river (boat ride include). Back to same way to Baghmara. Overnight stay.

Note: Wari Chora trekking route is very rough, road condition is very bad, so walk very carefully with safety.
Must carry some food in your bag while trekking towards Wari Chora.

Day 4

BAGHMARA - GUWAHATI

All Hotels was excellent. Agency coordination was also good. My complaint on the driver only, name Rajesh Sikhawat was not good person, his talking way was not well always doing unnecessary arguments. Mr Santanu from SUNBIRD always trying to control his way but he didn't listen to anyone. Otherwise SUNBIRD services was good.
