Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world, gorgeous green forest, picturesque landscapes and cascading waterfalls. Darjeeling If you wish to experience the beauty of the first rays of sun falling on the snow-capped peaks of Kanchenjunga, visit Darjeeling. It is rightly called the Queen of Hills. Another feather in its cap is the Toy Train which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This arresting hill station is located at an altitude of 6,700 feet. Other famous attractions of Darjeeling are tea gardens, Buddhist Monasteries, colonial architecture and mighty Kanchenjunga mountains.

Day 1 Day 1 : New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(njp)/bagdogra Airport(ixb) – Gangtok (130 Km/6 Hour Drive)

MG Marg

Once you reach the NJP/Bagdogra, you will be received by our representative with a warm welcome. He will drive you to Gangtok. Check in at the hotel. Freshen up and take some rest. Remaining day at leisure. In the evening, you can visit the MG Marg, the main street of Gangtok. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 Day 2 : Gangtok Full Day Sightseeing

After a delicious breakfast, embark on a journey to explore the famous attractions of Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. Located at an elevation of 1,650 m, Gangtok is also the gateway to Sikkim. First, visit the Bakthang Waterfalls which is quite wide and a great spot to take photographs. Next, you head to Tashi viewpoint for capturing far-reaching views of Mt. Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountains in the world. This point is also known for great sunrise views. Then head for Ganesh Tok, the Charming Hindu temple with mesmerizing hilltop views. After this, visit the Enchey Monastery which is believed to be the home of the protecting deities, Khangchendzonga and Yabdean. Enjoy a cable car ride on the Ropeway and catch the bird’s eye view of the surroundings. Other Gangtok attractions to be covered are Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Institute of Tibetology, Flower Show, and Banjhakri Falls. After sightseeing, drive back to the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 Day 3 : Gangtok ( Excursion To Tsomgo Lake And Baba Mandir)

Tsomgo Lake

Get ready for an exciting day today! Start the early morning at around 8 am to reach the pristine Tsomgo Lake located at an elevation of 3750 m and is around 3-hour drive from Gangtok. It is an irresistible waterbody which owes its charm to the snow-covered mountains and wild flowers in its surroundings. It is considered sacred by Hindus as well as Buddhists. In winter it gets frozen and in spring it comes back to life with blooming flowers in its surroundings. After enjoying yourself at the Lake, drive to Baba Harbhajan Mandir which is dedicated to a brave Indian soldier, Baba Harbhajan Singh who sacrificed his life while performing his duty. After completing the excursion, go back to the hotel in Gangtok. Remaining day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel. Note: You can also visit Nathula Pass on the same day at an additional cost. Nathula Pass is a great destination for adventure and mountain lovers as it is one of the highest motorable passes in the world. It is also an old trading border post connecting Tibet and India.
Day 4 Day 4 : Gangtok – Darjeeling (4 Hour Drive/110 Km)

After breakfast, start your journey to Darjeeling, the Queen of Hills. Once you reach Darjeeling, our representative will assist you to check in at the hotel at Darjeeling. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 Day 5 : Darjeeling (full Day Sightseeing)

MG Road

This day will bring you a great experience as you explore the famous attractions of Darjeeling. It is a dreamy destination located at an elevation of 2,042 meters in West Bengal. Today start early in the morning at around 4 am to visit the famous tourist destination of Darjeeling- Tiger Hill. It attracts visitors from far and wide for its breathtaking views of the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. It is the highest point in the town. Next, visit Batasia Loop, a spiral railway track in a picturesque location, and Ghoom Monastery. Have breakfast on the way to the next attraction-the Japanese Temple. It is a revered pilgrimage of Buddhist known for its exquisite Japanese architecture. The other Darjeeling attractions which will be covered today are Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park(closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda and Chitrey Tea Garden(outer view). Spend the evening at MG Road, the main street of Darjeeling. Note: Toy Train can be done on the same day at an additional cost.

2. Transportation Terms
Non-AC vehicles provided (AC not allowed in hilly regions).
Vehicles operate point-to-point as per local union rules.
Same vehicle may not be allowed for all sightseeing points.
Vehicle will not wait beyond the standard allotted time.
Vehicle replacement due to technical issues will be arranged as per availability without compensation for delays.
3. Permit & Documentation
Only ILP (Inner Line Permit) is included.
Army-restricted permits such as Nathula Pass, Zero Point, Kala Patthar, Mt. Katao are not included.
Valid ID proof required: Voter ID / Passport / Driving License.
Aadhaar & PAN are NOT accepted for permits.
Passport-size photos required.
In case of permit closure due to weather/Army restrictions, no refund is applicable.
4. Unforeseen Circumstances
Sikkim Holidays will not be responsible for delays, skipped sightseeing, or itinerary changes due to:
Weather issues
Landslides
Roadblocks / Strikes
Vehicle breakdowns
Government or Army restrictions
Natural calamities
Any condition beyond control
No refund or compensation shall be provided in such situations.
5. Health & Safety
Guests must be physically fit for high-altitude travel.
Essential medicines & warm clothing should be carried.
Limited medical facilities are available in high-altitude zones.
Elderly guests, infants, and guests with heart/lung conditions must consult a doctor before travel.
6. Child & Extra Bed Policy
Children below 5 years are complimentary (no extra bed).
Extra bed/mattress charges apply as per hotel rules.
Child meals depend on hotel meal policy.
7. Behavior & Conduct
Guests must respect hotel rules, local culture, and Army guidelines.
Any damage to hotel or vehicle property will be fully chargeable.
Misbehaviour with hotel staff, drivers, or locals may lead to service denial without refund.

Sikkim Holidays acts as a facilitator between guest and service providers (hotels, transport, permits).
Company is not responsible for loss of luggage, personal belongings, or delays caused by third-party vendors.
8.5 Compliance
Guests must adhere to permit rules, hotel regulations, and driver instructions.
Non-compliance may lead to cancellation of services without refund.
8.6 Payment Liability
Booking is considered confirmed only after advance payment is received.
In case of non-payment of balance amount, services may be withheld or cancelled.

30+ Days Before Travel: 80% of the total paid amount refunded (Admin charges + GST will be deducted).
15 to 30 Days Before Travel: 50% refund of the package cost.
Less Than 15 Days: No refund applicable.
