1 Day Kizimkazi Dolphin Tour

Kizimkazi is home to large numbers of bottle-nosed and spinner dolphins, beautiful coral reefs and tropical fish. Situated in the extreme Southern Coast of Zanzibar, Kizimkazi is a fishermen village and incredibly the best spot for tourists to clearly watch dolphins that come to hangout around the clear Indian Ocean waters and even swim with them. Kizimkazi is no doubt a favourite spot attracting most travellers on a Zanzibar holiday who come to enjoy a boat ride across the beautiful blue waters of Menai Bay Conservation Area (MBCA) with the aim of viewing the dolphins. The boat can get as close as 10–20 meters away from the dolphins as they jack-knife through the water, sometimes showing off with jumps and twists. Tourists have been lucky enough to swim and snorkel with these magical animals. Whether you are fortunate enough to see dolphins or not, you will enjoy an approximately two hour boat trip, taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean.
