Day 2 Transfer To The Elephant Kingdom

Amboseli Nairobi’s rooftops give way to open country within the hour. You travel south through Kajiado County, the acacia scrubland widening into flat Maasai steppe as the city falls completely away. Kilimanjaro appears first as a suggestion on the horizon — a pale mass above the cloud line — before the park gates bring you into Amboseli proper, in time for your first game drive as the light begins to soften. Day 3 Discover Huge Herds Of Elephant Against The Backdrop Of Mount Kilimanjaro

Amboseli Two game drives, morning and evening, when the light is low and the animals are most active. Amboseli’s swamps draw elephant, buffalo, and over 400 recorded bird species. Day 4 Drive To The Rift Valley Lake

Hell's Gate National Park A short transfer brings you to Hell’s Gate National Park, where (unusually for Kenya) you are permitted to walk among zebra, eland, and giraffe, the park’s volcanic cliffs rising on either side. Day 9 Full Day After The African Big Five And Maasai Cultural Interactions

Maasai Mara A second full day in the reserve, this time shaped around what you have already seen and what you still hope to find. An optional dawn hot air balloon flight is available this morning, drifting silently above the plains before a champagne breakfast is laid out in the grass below. Day 10 End Of This 10-day Safari
