10 Days Bush - Beach Flying Safari Tour

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport at around 8am and transfer to Wilson airport for your flight to Samburu National Reserve. You will pass over lush farmlands and catch glimpses of the glaciered slopes of Mt Kenya before dropping down to the arid country of the North and the Samburu Game Reserve. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Ashnil Samburu Camp. After lunch proceed for an evening game drive where you will have a chance of seeing the Samburu Special Five including Somali Ostrich, Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and Grevy zebra. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Luxury camp. All meals included.

Dawn breaks and the day starts in the bush with views from the lodge veranda and a cup of steaming coffee. Before the dew is off the grass depart in pursuit of elephants, lions, leopards and cheetahs that thrive in the reserve s grasslands and acacia woodlands. The day is spent alternating between active exploration in the bush and relaxation in the lodge. Guests enjoy two game drives each day, one in the morning and one in the evening, with overnight at Ashnil Samburu Luxury camp. All meals included.

Another full day in Samburu Reserve beginning at dawn with panoramic views from the lodge veranda and a morning cup of coffee. Early morning and evening game drives focus on sightings of elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs and other wildlife across the grasslands and acacia woodlands. The day remains a balance of drives and downtime at the lodge with accommodation at Ashnil Samburu Luxury camp. All meals included.

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Samburu, returning to camp for breakfast. Check out and transfer to the airstrip to catch your flight to Masai Mara, a flight of approximately one hour. On arrival you will be met by your guide and transferred to Ashnil Mara Camp for lunch. Relax after lunch until 1600hrs then depart for an evening game drive until 1830hrs. Masai Mara is renowned for the spectacular great migration from July through October and offers opportunities to see the big five year round. Overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp with all meals included.

Wake up at first light, enjoy a steaming cup of coffee and depart the camp in search of big game. Early morning game drives are recommended as animals are most active then. Expect a wide variety of species including Maasai Giraffe, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, Thompson gazelles, Grant gazelles, impalas, topis, zebras, wildebeest and many more. Return to camp for a full breakfast and enjoy the camp facilities. Later depart late afternoon for an evening game drive until dusk. Accommodation at Ashnil Mara Camp with all meals included.

A second full day in Maasai Mara beginning at first light with coffee and an early game drive to track active wildlife. The reserve offers repeated opportunities to see predators and diverse herbivores as well as abundant birdlife. Return to camp for a full breakfast and relax during the day before departing on a late afternoon to evening game drive until dusk. Overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp with all meals included.

Wake up early for your last game drive in Maasai Mara, explore the reserve at first light then return to camp for a full breakfast. Check out and transfer to the airstrip to catch a flight to Diani airstrip. From there you will be transferred to AfroChic in Diani Beach, a luxury getaway ideal for relaxation with spectacular views of exotic dhows in full sail.
