This 3 day fly in safari to the Maasai Mara offers a thrilling and effortless escape to one of Africas most legendary wildlife havens. Designed for first time and returning safari guests, the experience focuses on wildlife viewing, local culture and comfortable camp based accommodation. The itinerary includes a scenic one hour flight from Nairobi to Maasai Mara, professional safari guiding, game drives at prime wildlife viewing times and return transfers to Nairobi.
Upon arrival in Nairobi you will be met by a representative and transferred to Wilson Airport for a scenic one hour flight to the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. On landing a professional safari guide will meet you and transfer you to Sarova Mara Game Camp where you will have lunch and time to relax. Later in the afternoon you will depart on your first game drive across the sweeping savannah to observe abundant wildlife including the renowned Big Five. The Mara is particularly spectacular from July to October during the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Start the day with an early morning game drive which is the prime time for wildlife sightings as animals are most active. Search for lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests and various antelope species and enjoy rich birdlife including ostriches, falcons and storks. Return to camp for breakfast, enjoy leisure time at the camp and later head out again for an evening safari to continue wildlife viewing.
Enjoy one final early morning game drive followed by return to camp for breakfast. After check out you will be transferred to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi. On arrival at Wilson Airport you will be transferred either to your hotel in Nairobi or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
