Today you will be proceeding for onward journey from Manali. Start your journey towards mighty Himalayas, with first move towards Jispa enroute Rohtang La & Keylong. You may like to stop by Rohtang for a click, but believe me there will be plethora of ineffable beautiful landscapes on your way ahead. Later you will cross Keylong before finally arriving at Jispa, your halt for tonight.

After Breakfast, tighten your strings to travel another mind-boggling terrain along Indus, via nimoo, fotu la, namika la to Kargil. Enroute you can stop at Gurudwara Sri Pathar Sahib, Sangam, Magnetic Hill and Alchi Monastery. Check in at your hotel. After some rest, proceed to Hunderman village (this excursion shall be done only if time permits)- It was under Pakistani occupation until 1971 when India won it back during the Indo-Pak war. The village is home to 1000 year old structures currently being researched by ASI (Archaeological Survey of India). Across the border you see Pakistani bunkers, tomb of a famous saint from the region and Pakistani flag. Overnight at Kargil.
