After Breakfast, tighten your strings to travel another mind-boggling terrain along Indus, via nimoo, fotu la, namika la to Kargil. Enroute you can stop at Gurudwara Sri Pathar Sahib, Sangam, Magnetic Hill and Alchi Monastery. Check in at your hotel. After some rest, proceed to Hunderman village (this excursion shall be done only if time permits)- It was under Pakistani occupation until 1971 when India won it back during the Indo-Pak war. The village is home to 1000 year old structures currently being researched by ASI (Archaeological Survey of India).
