• Day 1 : GUWAHATI - SHILLONG ( 4hrs approx)

  Meet and greet on arrival at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport - Guwahati airport and Proceed to Scotland of the East -Shillong ,En route you can see speed Boating at Barapani Lake which is also called Umiam lake and check in Hotel you can enjoy fully the cool climate of Shillong. Night halt at Shillong hotel

• Day 2 : SHILLONG - CHERRPUNJI - SHILLONG

  After an early breakfast tour to Cherrapunji – (one side journey 2:30 hrs.), situated at an altitude of about 4823 feet. Locally known as Sohra hill sharing the border of Sylhet district of Bangladesh. Cherapunji offers a panoramic view of the hilly terrains: it was once having the record of being the wettest place on earth. Covering points Duwansingh view point, Nokhalikai falls, Ramakrishna mission, Mawsmai caves, Thangkharang park. Arrival at Hotel for dinner and night halt at Shillong.

• Day 3 : SHILLONG – MAWLYNNOG-DAWKI-BANGLADESH BORDER

  After an early b/fast Drive to Mawlynnong Village Known as Cleanest village in Asia –Known as Gods own Garden .on Arrival visit Living Root Bridge ( Natural Bridge formed with the Roots of Tree . A liitle Hiking req to see Magnificent Bridge ( HikingApprox 1 Hrs) , Balancing stone, Dawki River, Bangladesh border. Evening back to Shillong for night halt

• Day 4 : SHILONG – KAZIRANGA ( 6 hrs Approx)

  After breakfast transfer to Kaziranga National Park which is World famous for single Horn Rhino. Description :Kaziranga National Park is a protected area in the northeast Indian state of Assam. Spread across the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River, its forests, wet lands and grasslands are home to tigers, elephants and the world’s largest population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses. Ganges River dolphins swim in the park’s waters. It’s visited by manyrare migratory birds, and gray pelicans roost near Kaziranga village. Evening time Enjoy Assam Cultural Dance show ( Bihu ).Overnight at Hotel

• Day 5 : KAZIRANGA

  Early morning go foran Elephant ride (5.30 to 6.30/ 6.30 to 7.30).
  After the ride return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, you will be taken to the Central Range / Western /range for one round of Jeep Safari. Afternoon Jeep safari to the Western range.Overnight at Kaziranga.

• Day 6 : KAZIRANGA - BOMDILA (100 KM / 4 Hrs)

  Visit Tipi Orchid arium& Drive to Bomdila ( 8000 ft.).Bomdila is situated at an altitude of over 8500 feet in the north eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh in India. Hooked amongst the mighty mountainous ranges of Himalaya, Bomdila is the headquarters of the West Kameng district of the state of Arunachal Pradesh and offers a panoramic view of the awesome Himalayan terrain. Overnight at Bomdila.

• Day 7 : BOMDILA -TAWANG (180 KM / 5 Hrs)

  Drive to Tawang crossing Sela Pass ( 13720 ft.) which runs through a small ridge and along the paradise lake. Stop to enjoy the Sella Pass and Paradise Lake. From the Sela pass road winds down to Jong Village. On the way to Jong visit Yashwant Garh War Memorial. After lunch at Jong Village starts for Tawang. On the way, visit Nuranang Fall.Over night at Tawang.

• Day 8 : TAWANG Local Sightseeing

  Sightseeing in and around Tawang city. Visit the famous Tawang Monastery, which is 400 years old, accommodates over 500 monks and houses priceless Buddhist texts and scriptures. The Tibetan influence here is unmistakable, with the elaborately painted wooden windows and other motifs. An 8 mt high gilded statue of the Buddha is seated here, as are numerous ancient Thankas or Traditional paintings and manuscripts. Also visit the Craft Centre, Tawang War Memorial. Evening free time. Overnight at Tawang.

• Day 9 : TAWANG – BUMLA PASS - TAWANG

  Enjoy a full day excursion to visit the PT Tso Lake, Bumla Pass (Excluded), Sangetsar Lake. Sangestser is popularly known as (Madhuri Lake) which was named after the Legendary Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit, located 35 km from Tawang near China border. The drive for Sangestser lake is full of thrill and one can still see the war bankers that had been used during the Chinese aggression in 1962 and the beautiful lake. Drive back to Tawang. Overnight at Tawang.

• Day 10 : TAWANG to DIRANG (134 KM / 4.5 Hrs)

  After breakfast, check out of the Hotel & transfer to Dirang, crossing the same sela Pass (14000 ft.) from sea level and reaching Dirang by afternoon. We will visit to drive to Shangti valley, this valley is famous for Black Named cranes that come in the month of October and fly back in the month of May. Considered to be the best valley in Eastern Himalayan Zone. Overnight at Dirang.

• Day 11 : DIRANG – BHALUKPONG

  After b/fast depart towards Bhalukpong.(6 hrs Approx) En route visit monastery. arrival at Bhalukpong .En route lunch. arrival at Bhalukpong night halt at Hotel.

• Guests with adventurous mind should travel to Arunachal Pradesh.
• SPECIAL NOTE FOR ARUNACHAL PRADESH
• Arunachal Pradesh is very remote place, so all hotels in this region are basic to very very basic.
• Road conditions from Bhalukpong to Tawang are not good.
• Room heaters may not work in Arunachal Pradesh due to voltage fluctuations.
• In this region there are no relevance between the distance and time travelling as it depends upon the conditions of roads and congestion of traffic.
• Mobile services may not be active in all destinations. Pre-paid roaming and International roaming connection does not work in this region.
• Credit Cards / Traveller’scheque are not freely accepted.
• Inner Line Permit for entry to Arunachal Pradesh
• To visit Arunachal Pradesh, Indian national requires Inner Line Permits. Permits are issued in Guwahati which takes 2-3 working days. (ILP office remains closed on Saturday-Sunday)
• Documents required for every traveler:
• 2 passport size photographs of each person
• 1 Valid Photo ID proof (Adhaar Card, Driving License, Voter ID Card, Valid Passport)
• Pan Card is not accepted as ID proof by the authorities
• 1 Valid Address proof
• CHINA BORDER
• From Tawang a day visit to China Border is possible for Indian Nationals only but it is subject to permission recived from DC & Indian Army. It can be arranged at additional cost. The rate for the trip keeps varying and we will intimate to you during the your travel time
• Local vehicle will have to be hired to visit China Border and per vehicle cost will range from Rs.5,500/- - Rs.6,000/-
• The process of procuring permit to visit China border requires at least one of the guest members to visit the DC’s office the previous day for certain formalities.
• Permission is on the discretion of the officials.
• Sometimes there may be last moment cancellation even after getting permission as the region is a high security zone.
• DC’s office remains closed on Saturday & Sunday.
• HEALTH ADVISORY
• Enroute to Tawang, there is Sela Pass at 13,700 ft. The area has low oxygen and may cause High altitude sickness, nausea, shortness of breath etc.
• If guests have health problems like blood pressure, asthama, & heart related issue etc. kindly advise them to consult their doctors
• Kindly carry appropriate medicines as they will not be available easily
