Upon arrival meet our representative at the airport.
After briefing the itinerary, drive straight to Shillong. En route visit Umiam Lake (Barapani Lake).
UMIAM LAKE - a manmade lake which is actually a dam for Umiam river.
It is spread over 220 square km. Activities like kayaking, water cycling, scooting and boating are available.
Check-in hotel and after refreshment if time permits visit Cathedral of Marry. Overnight in Shillong.
On this day start our journey little early after breakfast for an excursion to Cherrapunjee. Enroute stop at the Duwan Sing Syiem view point. Enjoy chilled or rainy weather with a hot cup of coffee or with plate of Maggi.
In Cherrapunjee we will take you to visit Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. Later take a walk inside the Mawsmai Cave.
Have lunch at Cherrapunjee and drive back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong
After breakfast drive to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia, also known as ‘God’s own Garden’. With over 80 households, the village gives the ambiance of walking in a well maintained park ! Climb the 80 ft Sky Walk at Mawlynnong village for a bird’s eye view of the Village, the plantations and faraway plains of Bangladesh. You will also be acquainted with the Khasi lifestyle, their culture and economy.
A trek to the nearby Rewai Village is another interesting activity. Walk down a flight of almost 100 steps to witness nature’s wonder, living-root bridge. The bridges are tangles of massive thick roots, which the local people intertwined to form a bridge that can hold several people at a time. The root bridges, may be up to over a hundred feet long, take ten to fifteen years to become fully functional, but they become very strong in the process. The bridges live and keep growing and strengthen over time. The useful lifespan of the bridges, is thought to be 500–600 years.
Later drive to Dawki, a village of the Jaintia community whose prime occupation of fishing. Be mesmerized by the beauty of the Umngot river, the venue of the annual boat race held during March - April at Umsyiem. The Umngot itself is a prime fishing spot for fishermen of the villages. The river is also famous for its crystal clear water, so clear that when seen from a distance, it appears as if the boat is floating in mid-air! The Umngot River is the natural boundary between RiPnar or Jaintia Hills with HimaKhyrim of Khasi hills over which is a single span suspension bridge was constructed. This is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. Enjoy an amazing country boat river ride. Drive up to the Bangladesh border.
Later proceed to Shillong for overnight stay.
Note: It is advisable to carry packed lunch to Mawlynnong.
After breakfast drive to Kaziranga. Overnight at Kaziranga.
In Kaziranga to enjoy cultural show you have options, as some local youth organized Cultural show in Kohora in auditorium or open field and also you can go to Orchid And Biodiversity Park which is approx. 3 Kms far from Kohora(Main Market area). They usually organize 3 to 5 types of cultural dance along with famous Bihu dance. We suggest you not to MISS THE PROGRAM.
Early morning go foran Elephant ride (5.30 to 6.30/ 6.30 to 7.30).
After the ride return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, you will be taken to the Central Range for one round of Jeep Safari.
Later checkout and drive back to Kohima. Overnight at Kohima.

After breakfast drive to Nagaland state museum, later proceed to Kohima WWII cemetery. Overnight at Kohima.
Nagaland State Museum
The museum is about 2 km from the main town of Kohima. To understand the cultural composition of the state, visit the Nagaland State Museum. The Nagaland State Museum provides informative and visual representation of the traditional attires, their weapons, sculptures, jewelry, artifacts, house patterns, and other cultural aspects of all the 16 tribes of state.
Visit the Kohima WWII Cemetery
Located at the center of the city, the cemetery is in walking distance from the nearby hotels. Signifying the history of World War II, Kohima War Cemetery is dedicated to the soldiers who died fighting against the Japanese Army in Kohima in the year 1944. Representing the Indian, Australian, British, and Canadian nationalities, a total of 1,420 burials were erected. The Japanese retreated after getting defeated here. Apart from the historical significance, the Kohima WWII Cemetery also presents a panoramic view of Kohima city.
Khonoma Located about 20 km from Kohima town
Named as the first green village by the government of India in 2005, Khonoma’s sustainable agricultural practices and nature conservation has recently made it a favorite destination of travelers.
Birdwatchers, researchers, journalists, and tourists who commonly visit Khonoma enjoy the peaceful ambience surrounded by green forests, hills and terrace fields. After our interest had done we will drive back to Kohima for overnight.
After Breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Imphal.
In the afternoon, visit the State Museum to understand the history, cultural diversity and flora and fauna of Manipur. In the evening we will take part in the Aarti Puja at the Govindajee Temple, the main Vaishnavite Temple of Manipur.
Note: The starting time of the tour and the number of sites to be visited will depend upon the time of your arrival at Imphal. Overnight at Imphal.
Early morning, visit the core area of the KeibulLamjao National Park the world’s only floating National Park to see the Sangai, the brow-antlered deer, or the ‘dancing deer’. Before lunch, go for boating at the Loktak Lake to see the fishing activities, floating huts, and the migratory birds. This boat ride is a photographer’s and nature lover’s delight. Post lunch, walk around the lake and visit a local museum on one of the islands on the lake. Overnight at Imphal.
After breakfast transfer to Imphal airport drop
