Day 01: Arrival in Sri Lanka – Negombo


Upon arrival at the Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly received by our representative from Experior Travels. Your dream vacation has just begun. You will be escorted to your vehicle and transferred to Negombo, the starting point of a memorable vacation.

Negombo, the fourth largest city in the Island, is also known as ‘’ Little Rome’’ for its splendor and the numerous churches scattered throughout the city. Historically, Negombo was one of the main trade ports as its natural lagoon offered safe shelter to merchant vessels from Arabia in centuries gone by.

Day 02 & 03 : Negombo – Habarana


Today you will travel to Habarana located in Sri Lanka’s famous cultural triangle which offers plenty to fire both mind and body over the next few days. Explore some of Sri Lanka’s fascinating UNESCO protected World Heritage Sites: the lion rock of Sigiriya – a royal capital city built in 477 AD; the ancient kingdom of Polonnaruwa, which was Sri Lanka’s royal medieval capital between the 11th – 13th centuries.

Day 04 & 05: Habarana – Kandy


Travel to Kandy – a World Heritage city. Traditions and culture remain undisturbed by European influence in the colonial era. The Royal Palace, now known as the “The Temple of the Tooth Relic’’ (of Lord Buddha), situated right beside the Kandy lake gives a magical beauty to the city. Kandy is also home to one of the largest botanical gardens in South East Asia. The Gardens date back to the 14th century and boasts over 4000 species of plants and many trees with significant histories. Visitors will be particularly interested in the Cannonball Tree, the variety of orchids planted by King George V. The tree is bent with its fruits, which resemble cannonballs hence the name.

Day 06 & 07: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya


Take a scenic train ride to Nuwara Eliya the emerald city of Sri Lanka, also known as ‘’little England’’ for its cool climate and colonial style architecture. It is located at an altitude of 1,868 m (6,128 ft) above sea level which enables the plantations to produce the finest tea in the world.

Day 08 & 09: Nuwara Eliya – Yala
Travel to the Yala National Park, the second largest and most visited National Park, rich in wild life and famous for its high concentration of leopards and elephants.

Day 10 & 11: Yala – Galle


Today you will travel to Galle one of the most glorified colonial cities in the island. The Galle Fort built by the Portuguese and extensively fortified by the Dutch is a true evidence of the grandeur of a past era. Today, Galle has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is unique for its natural beauty, sandy stretches of beaches and carpeted hills of tea in close proximity.

Day 12 & 13: Galle – Colombo




Today you will be transferred to Colombo – the official political and trade capital of Sri Lanka. All the famous shopping arcades are in and around the city, which allows one to have a tantalizing experience in Colombo as it has something to offer every visitor. As a hub of many ethnicities with people from all creeds working together, Colombo is indeed cosmopolitan.
