The day will start with a flight from Zanzibar to Arusha and you will travel to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive after breakfast. Tarangire, which spans 3,000 square kilometers, is well-known for its distinctive baobab trees and large population of elephants. The Tarangire River, which meanders through the park, is the source of its name. Tarangire exhibits wildlife concentrations similar to those in the Serengeti, which is most impressive during the dry season (June to November). With more than 2,000 elephants and 500 bird species, the park is home to a variety of habitats and the Tarangire River, which serves as a perennial water source.

You will drive two-hour to the Ngorongoro Crater. Approximately 2 million years ago, the Ngorongoro Volcano collapsed, creating the biggest intact crater on Earth, which is regarded as the eighth natural wonder of the world. The crater is 19 kilometers wide and features a variety of habitats, such as open grasslands, hippo-filled wetlands, and acacia woodlands. Alongside buffalo and wildebeest, the Maasai people graze their animals in this thriving ecosystem. After lunch inside the crater, you will head to dinner and your overnight stay as the day comes to an end.

After lunch in the Crater rim, you will head back to Arusha and then to Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch your flight back to Zanzibar.
