3 DAY LUXURY SAFARI TO LAKE MANYARA NGORONGORO CRATER AND TARANGIRE

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30am. Your English speaking driver guide will brief you about the trip then drive approximately 135 km to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive and picnic lunch. Lake Manyara offers giant fig trees acacia woodlands mahogany trees grassy flood plains dramatic escarpment views Soda Lake and distant volcanic peaks. Expect sightings of elephants hippos impalas giraffe warthog wildebeest blue monkeys and buffaloes and possibly the famous tree climbing lions and leopards. The park is also notable for birdlife with over 400 species including pink hued flamingoes herons storks and pelicans. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar. Lunch and dinner provided.

Early start with breakfast at 05:30am then descend about 610 meters to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for approximately 6 hours of game viewing with a picnic lunch box. Ngorongoro Crater provides opportunities to spot endangered black rhinos large mammals such as lions elephants zebras buffaloes and wildebeest and supports large predators and scavengers. The crater soda lake also attracts many bird species including flamingos. Late evening return drive to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast drive with a picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park for game viewing. Tarangire covers about 2600 square kilometers and during dry seasons supports extremely high concentrations of wildlife rivaling the Serengeti with very large numbers of zebras wildebeest buffaloes elephants Maasai giraffes and fringe eared oryx. Predators include lions cheetah and leopards and there are numerous bird species including green wood hoopoes fisher lovebirds white bellied go away birds and giant kingfishers. Late evening drive back to Arusha.
