3 DAY LUXURY SAFARI TO LAKE MANYARA, NGORONGORO CRATER AND TARANGIRE

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30am. Your English Speaking driver guide will brief you about the trip before driving approximately 135Klm to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive with a picnic lunch. The park features giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees and grassy flood plains with contrasts including open plains, a large escarpment, Soda Lake, dense woodlands and distant volcanic peaks. Wildlife sightings may include elephants, hippos, impalas, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, blue monkeys and buffaloes, as well as the famous tree climbing lions and leopards. The park is also rich in birdlife with over 400 recorded species including flamingoes, herons, storks and pelicans. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar. Meals: Lunch and Dinner.

Early breakfast at 05:30am then descend approximately 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for about 6 hours of game viewing with a picnic lunch box. The crater supports a dense concentration of wildlife where you can spot endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and other species. The Soda Lake in the crater also attracts many bird species including flamingos. After game viewing late evening drive back to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast drive with a picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park for game viewing. Tarangire covers around 2,600 square kilometers and during dry times hosts very large concentrations of wildlife rivaling other famous parks. Expect to see large numbers of zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, elephants, Maasai giraffes and fringe eared oryx, as well as predators such as lions, cheetah and leopards. The park also offers varied birdlife including green wood hoopoes, fisher lovebirds, white bellied go away birds and giant kingfishers. Late evening drive back to Arusha completing the safari.
