Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30am where your English speaking driver guide will brief you about the trip. Drive about 135 km to Lake Manyara National Park with a lunch box for a full day game drive and picnic lunch. The park features giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees, grassy flood plains, an escarpment, a soda lake, dense woodlands and distant volcanic peaks. Expect to see elephants, hippos, impalas, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, blue monkeys and buffaloes and the famous tree climbing lions and leopards. Lake Manyara is also a superb birding area with over 400 recorded species including pink hued flamingoes, herons, storks and pelicans. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar. Meals: lunch and dinner.

Early breakfast at 05:30am then descend 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for approximately 6 hours of game viewing with a picnic lunch box. The crater offers sightings of endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and other wildlife. The crater soda lake is home to many bird species including flamingos. Expect to observe large predators such as lions and leopards and scavengers like hyenas and jackals. Late evening drive back to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day of game viewing. Tarangire covers about 2600 square kilometers and during dry seasons hosts massive concentrations of wildlife rivaling the Serengeti with large numbers of zebras wildebeest buffaloes elephants Maasai giraffes and fringe eared oryx, and predators including lions cheetahs and leopards. Also enjoy birding including green wood hoopoes fisher lovebirds white bellied go away birds and giant kingfishers. Late evening drive back to Arusha.
