3 DAY LUXURY SAFARI TO LAKE MANYARA, NGORONGORO CRATER AND TARANGIRE

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30am. After a briefing by your English speaking driver guide, you will drive approximately 135 km with a packed lunch to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive and picnic lunch. The park features giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees, grassy flood plains, an escarpment, a soda lake and distant volcanic peaks. Expect sightings of elephants, hippos, impalas, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, blue monkeys and buffaloes, as well as the park famous tree climbing lions and leopards. Lake Manyara is also noted for its birdlife with over 400 species recorded including pink hued flamingoes, herons, storks and pelicans. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar. Meals: Lunch and Dinner.

Early breakfast at 05:30am then descend approximately 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for around six hours of game viewing with a picnic lunch box. The crater offers dense wildlife concentrations where you may spot endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and other animals. The crater also contains a soda lake supporting many bird species including flamingos. Late evening return drive to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast depart with a picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park for wildlife viewing. Tarangire covers approximately 2,600 square kilometers and during dry periods hosts vast concentrations of animals rivaling more famous parks. Expect to encounter large numbers of zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, elephants, Maasai giraffes and fringe eared oryx, as well as predators including lions, cheetahs and leopards and a variety of bird species such as green wood hoopoes, fisher lovebirds, white bellied go away birds and giant kingfishers. Late evening drive back to Arusha.
