3 DAY LUXURY SAFARI TO LAKE MANYARA NGORONGORO CRATER AND TARANGIRE

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30am where your English speaking driver guide will brief you about the trip. Drive approximately 135 km to Lake Manyara National Park with a lunch box for a full day game drive and picnic lunch. Lake Manyara features giant fig trees acacia woodlands mahogany trees grassy flood plains an escarpment a soda lake dense woodlands and distant volcanic peaks. Wildlife includes elephants hippos impalas giraffe warthog wildebeest blue monkeys and buffaloes and the park is famous for tree climbing lions and leopards. The park is also an excellent introduction to Tanzanias birdlife with over 400 species recorded including pink hued flamingoes herons storks and pelicans. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar. Meals included: Lunch and Dinner.

Early start with breakfast at 05:30am then descend approximately 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for about 6 hours of game viewing with a picnic lunch box. Ngorongoro Crater offers sightings of endangered black rhinos lions elephants zebras buffaloes wildebeest and many other mammals. The crater contains Soda Lake which attracts many bird species including flamingos and the predator and scavenger populations such as lions leopards hyenas and jackals are commonly seen. Late evening drive back to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast depart with a picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park for a day of game viewing. Tarangire covers 2,600 square kilometers and during the dry season hosts massive concentrations of wildlife rivaling the Serengeti with very large numbers of zebras wildebeest buffaloes elephants Maasai giraffes and fringe eared oryx as well as predators including lions cheetahs and leopards. The park also supports numerous bird species such as green wood hoopoes fisher lovebirds white bellied go away birds and giant kingfishers. Late evening drive back to Arusha.
