3 DAY LUXURY SAFARI TO LAKE MANYARA, NGORONGORO CRATER AND TARANGIRE

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30am. Your English speaking driver guide will brief you about the trip then drive approximately 135 km to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive with a picnic lunch. The park features giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees, grassy flood plains, a soda lake, dense woodlands, an escarpment and distant volcanic peaks. Wildlife commonly seen includes elephants, hippos, impalas, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, blue monkeys and buffaloes, and the park is famous for tree climbing lions and leopards. Lake Manyara provides excellent birdwatching with over 400 species recorded, including pink hued flamingoes, herons, storks and pelicans. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar. Meals: Lunch and Dinner.

Early morning breakfast at 05:30am then descend approximately 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for about six hours of game viewing with a picnic lunch box. The crater hosts high densities of wildlife where you can spot endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and many other species. The Soda Lake inside the crater also supports many bird species including flamingos. Predators such as lions and leopards and scavengers such as hyenas and jackals are commonly seen. Late evening drive back to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for game viewing. Tarangire covers approximately 2,600 square kilometers and during dry times hosts staggering concentrations of wildlife rivaling larger parks: large numbers of zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, elephants, Maasai giraffes and fringe eared oryx as well as predators including lions, cheetah and leopards. The park also supports a variety of bird species such as green wood hoopoes, fisher lovebirds, white bellied go away birds and giant kingfishers. Late evening drive back to Arusha.
