3 DAY LUXURY SAFARI TO LAKE MANYARA, NGORONGORO CRATER AND TARANGIRE

Pickup from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30am. Your English speaking driver guide will brief you about the trip and then drive with a lunch box to Lake Manyara National Park, approximately 135 km, for a full day game drive and picnic lunch. Lake Manyara offers diverse habitats including giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees, grassy flood plains, a soda lake and distant volcanic peaks. Expect wildlife such as elephants, hippos, impalas, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, blue monkeys and buffaloes, and the park is famous for tree climbing lions and leopards. Lake Manyara is also an important birding site with over 400 species recorded including pink hued flamingoes, herons, storks and pelicans. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar. Meals provided: Lunch and Dinner.

Early morning breakfast at 05.30 am then descend approximately 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a 6 hour game viewing experience with a picnic lunch box. Ngorongoro Crater provides a unique enclosed ecosystem where you can spot endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and other wildlife, and visit the Soda Lake area for birdlife including flamingoes. Predators such as lions and leopards and scavengers such as hyenas and jackals may also be seen. Late evening drive back to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast drive with picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing. Tarangire covers about 2,600 square kilometers and during dry times supports very high concentrations of wildlife rivaling other famous parks, with large numbers of zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, elephants and Maasai giraffes and significant predator populations including lions, cheetahs and leopards. Birdlife is also abundant with species such as Green Wood Hoopoes, Fischer Lovebirds, white bellied go away birds and giant kingfishers. Late evening drive back to Arusha.
