3 Day Luxury Safari to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire

Pickup from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30am and briefing by an English speaking driver guide, followed by a drive of about 135 km to Lake Manyara National Park. Spend a full day game driving in the park with a picnic lunch, viewing a variety of habitats including giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees, grassy flood plains, open plains, an escarpment, a soda lake and distant volcanic peaks. Expect to see elephants, hippos, impalas, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, blue monkeys, buffaloes, tree climbing lions and leopards, and extensive birdlife with over 400 species including pink hued flamingoes, herons, storks and pelicans. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar. Meals: Lunch and Dinner included.

Early start with breakfast at 05:30 am, then descend approximately 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for around six hours of game viewing with a picnic lunch. The crater supports dense wildlife including endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and many other species, as well as birds at the crater soda lake including flamingos. Predators such as lions and leopards and scavengers such as hyenas and jackals may be encountered. Late evening drive back to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Picnic lunch, Dinner included.

After breakfast depart with a picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing. Tarangire covers about 2,600 square kilometers and during dry times supports massive concentrations of wildlife rivaling the Serengeti, with very large numbers of zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, elephants, Maasai giraffes and fringe eared oryx, along with predators including lions, cheetahs and leopards and numerous bird species such as green wood hoopoes, fisher lovebirds, white bellied go away birds and giant kingfishers. Late evening drive back to Arusha to conclude the safari. Meals: Breakfast and Picnic lunch included.
