Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30am for a briefing by your English speaking driver guide then drive to Lake Manyara National Park (about 135Klm) for a full day game drive with a picnic lunch. Lake Manyara features giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees and grassy flood plains with contrasting open plains, escarpment, Soda Lake, dense woodlands and distant volcanic peaks. Wildlife sightings commonly include elephants, hippos, impalas, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, blue monkeys and buffalo. The park is also famous for tree climbing lions and leopards and provides an excellent introduction to Tanzanian birdlife with over 400 species including pink hued flamingoes, herons, storks and pelicans. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar. Meals: Lunch and Dinner.

Early breakfast at 05:30am then descend approximately 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for about six hours of game viewing with a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is home to high densities of wildlife including endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes and wildebeest. Soda Lake within the crater hosts many bird species including flamingos. The crater supports large predators such as lions and leopards and scavengers such as hyenas and jackals. Late evening return drive to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast drive with a picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing. Tarangire covers approximately 2,600 square kilometers and during dry seasons supports massive concentrations of wildlife rivaling other famous parks. Expect large herds and significant sightings of species including zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, elephants, Maasai giraffes and fringe eared oryx, as well as predators such as lions, cheetah and leopards. The park also hosts many bird species including green wood hoopoes, Fischer lovebirds, white bellied go away birds and giant kingfishers. Late evening drive back to Arusha.
