3 Days From Zanzibar - Tarangire - Ngorongoro And Manyara

Your adventure begins early in the morning (pick-up time may vary depending on your hotel’s location in Zanzibar). You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival your driver-guide will meet you and drive you to Tarangire National Park, about 1.5 hours away from Arusha. Tarangire National Park is famous for its rich biodiversity, including large herds of elephants and diverse landscapes that range from seasonal swamps to expansive savanna. The Tarangire River flows through the park, attracting a variety of wildlife. During your game drive, you may have the opportunity to witness predators in action, like lions stalking prey, or leopards resting in the trees above. You’ll enjoy a packed lunch within the park before continuing the game drive. Afterward, you’ll drive to Acacia Farm Lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening, followed by your overnight stay.

On day two, you will begin your day with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exhilarating game drive. As you make your way into the crater, you will be surrounded by its incredible natural beauty and wildlife. This vast caldera, often referred to as the “Garden of Eden,” is home to a rich variety of animals, including the Big Five, and offers some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities in the world. As you explore the different ecosystems within the crater, you’ll have the chance to spot herds of elephants, prides of lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalo, and a host of bird species in their natural habitat. After a thrilling day of game driving, you will depart from the crater and journey to Karatu town, located just outside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Following breakfast, you’ll travel to Lake Manyara National Park, situated at the foothills of the Great Rift Valley. Known for its stunning diversity of landscapes, this park is home to the iconic tree-climbing lions, as well as large herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, and a variety of bird species around the alkaline Lake Manyara. Enjoy an exciting game drive through the park, where you’ll explore its dense forests and vast savannahs, encountering wildlife in their natural environment. Afterward, you’ll make your way back to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. The flight departs from Arusha and arrives in Zanzibar bringing your remarkable safari journey to a memorable end.
