This 3-day fly-in safari to the Maasai Mara offers a thrilling and effortless escape to one of Africas most legendary wildlife havens. Designed for first time visitors and returning guests alike, the trip combines scenic flights, professional safari guiding, luxurious camp accommodation at Sarova Mara Game Camp, daily game drives across sweeping savannahs and opportunities to witness abundant wildlife including the Big Five and the Great Wildebeest Migration (spectacular from July to October). Travel includes meet and greet, park entry fees, shared safari vehicle, and selected meals and accommodation as specified in the dossier.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be greeted by a representative and transferred to Wilson Airport for a scenic one hour flight to the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Upon landing a professional safari guide will welcome you and transfer you to the luxurious Sarova Mara Game Camp where you will enjoy lunch and time to relax. Later in the afternoon head out on your first game drive across the sweeping savannah which is home to abundant wildlife including the renowned Big Five. The Mara is especially spectacular from July to October during the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Start the day with an early morning game drive, the prime time for wildlife sightings when animals are most active. Expect sightings of lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests and various antelope species. Birdlife is also rich and varied with species from ostriches to falcons and storks. After returning to camp for breakfast, enjoy leisure time at the camp before heading out again for an evening safari to continue wildlife viewing.
Enjoy a final early morning game drive for last chance wildlife sightings before returning to camp for breakfast. After check out you will be transferred to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi. On arrival at Wilson Airport you will either be transferred to your hotel or taken to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
