Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30am. Your English speaking driver guide will brief you about the trip and then you will drive with a lunch box to Lake Manyara National Park (about 135 km) for a full day game drive and picnic lunch. The park features giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees and grassy flood plains, with contrasts of open plains, a huge escarpment, a soda lake, dense woodlands and distant volcanic peaks. Expect sightings of elephants, hippos, impalas, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, blue monkeys and buffaloes, as well as the famous tree climbing lions and leopards. Lake Manyara is also an excellent introduction to Tanzanias birdlife with over 400 species recorded, including pink hued flamingoes, herons, storks and pelicans. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar. Meals included: Lunch and Dinner.

Early start with breakfast at 05:30am then descend approximately 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for about 6 hours of game viewing with a picnic lunch box. The crater floor supports a dense concentration of wildlife where you can spot endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and other wild animals. The Soda Lake in the crater hosts many bird species including flamingos. The interactions of herbivores support large predators like lions and leopards and scavengers such as hyenas and jackals. Late evening drive returns to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

After breakfast drive with a picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire covers about 2,600 square kilometers and during dry periods hosts massive concentrations of wildlife rivaling better known parks, with staggering game numbers including large populations of zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, elephants and Maasai giraffes, as well as fringe eared oryxs. Predators in the park include lions, cheetah and leopards and there are many bird species such as green wood hoopoes, fisher lovebirds, white bellied go away birds and giant kingfishers. Late evening drive back to Arusha. Meals included: Lunch.
