Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival & Safari at Ol Pejeta Conservancy

  Morning: Arrival & Transfer to Ol Pejeta
  Arrive in Nairobi and be greeted by your safari guide.
  Transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located approximately 3-4 hours from Nairobi.
  Settle into your lodge or camp, which could be at Sweetwaters Serena Camp, Kicheche Laikipia Camp, or another of your choice.
  
  Afternoon: Game Drive
  Enjoy lunch at the lodge and have a short rest.
  Head out for your first game drive in Ol Pejeta, famous for its rhino sanctuary.
  Spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) and other wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and antelope.
  
  Optional Evening Activities:
  Night game drive to spot nocturnal wildlife.
  Visit the Endangered Species Boma to see rare northern white rhinos.
  Overnight at Ol Pejeta Conservancy

• Day 2 : Transfer to Samburu National Reserve

  Morning: Transfer to Samburu
  After breakfast, depart for Samburu National Reserve, about a 3-hour scenic drive.
  Arrive at Samburu and check into your lodge or camp (popular options include Samburu Intrepids Camp or Elephant Bedroom Camp).
  
  Afternoon: First Game Drive in Samburu
  After lunch, head out for a game drive.
  Samburu is known for its unique wildlife, including the "Samburu Special Five" – Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx.
  Spot large herds of elephants and predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
  
  Evening at Leisure
  Relax back at the camp and enjoy a sundowner overlooking the river.
  Overnight in Samburu National Reserve

  • Themes Game Drives
• Day 3 : Full Day in Samburu National Reserve

  Morning: Game Drive
  Early morning game drive to catch the predators while they are still active.
  Explore different areas of the park, including the Uaso Nyiro River, which is the lifeblood of the park, drawing animals for water.
  
  Optional Cultural Visit:
  Mid-morning visit to a Samburu village for a chance to experience the local culture, meet the people, and learn about their customs.
  
  Afternoon: Game Drive or Optional Bush Walk
  After lunch, go for another game drive, or opt for a guided bush walk if your camp offers it.
  Discover more of the park's wildlife, including the bird species like kingfishers, guinea fowl, and vultures.
  Overnight in Samburu National Reserve

  • Themes Game Drives
• Day 4 : Transfer to Aberdare National Park

  Morning: Transfer to Aberdare
  Depart Samburu early and drive to Aberdare National Park, a journey of around 4-5 hours.
  Arrive and check into your accommodation at The Ark or Treetops Lodge, both unique lodges with wildlife-viewing decks that overlook waterholes.
  
  Afternoon: Wildlife Viewing
  After lunch, settle into your lodge and spend the afternoon enjoying the view from the lodge’s deck as animals come to drink at the waterhole.
  Aberdare is home to elephants, buffaloes, leopards, giant forest hogs, and the elusive bongo antelope.
  
  Optional Afternoon Game Drive
  Alternatively, go for a guided game drive through the dense forests and misty moorlands of the Aberdare Range.
  Overnight at Aberdare National Park

  • Themes Game Drives
• Day 5 : Departure

  Morning: Optional Nature Walk or Game Drive
  For early risers, take one last game drive or go on a nature walk in the Aberdare highlands.
  
  Late Morning: Return to Nairobi
  After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Nairobi, approximately a 3-4 hour drive.
  Arrive in Nairobi in time for lunch or catch your onward flight.
