Depart Nairobi early in the morning for a approximately 4 hour drive to Nanyuki / Sirimon Gate at 2,660m. After park clearance and lunch begin a 3 to 4 hour hike covering 9 km through montane forest and bamboo vegetation ascending approximately 640m to Judmaier Old Moses Camp at 3,300m for dinner and acclimatization. Accommodation is at Judmaier / Old Moses Mountain Hut. Stats include 3–4 hours trekking, 9 km distance, ascent 640m, meals provided lunch and dinner.

Trek across the vast Mackinder's Valley via the Ontulili and Liki North rivers, walking among exotic giant Lobelias and Groundsels with stunning views of the main peaks Nelion and Batian ahead. The approach to Shipton's Camp covers about 14 km over 6 to 7 hours with an ascent of approximately 900m. Shipton's Camp is situated directly below the steep snow paths of the main peaks. Accommodation is at Shipton's Camp Hut. Meals provided are breakfast lunch and dinner.

Dedicated acclimatization day. Take a morning walk up toward Kami Hut or Hausberg Col to gain altitude and then trek back down to Shipton's Camp for rest and high altitude recovery. This acclimatization activity is key to prepare for the summit push. Stats indicate 3 to 4 hours of hiking covering about 5 km. Accommodation remains at Shipton's Camp Hut with meals breakfast lunch and dinner.

Alpine start with wake up at 3:00 AM for the summit push. Ascend steep scree slopes for approximately 3 hours to reach Point Lenana at 4,985m at sunrise for spectacular 360 degree views which on clear days include Mt Kilimanjaro. After summiting descend along the scenic Chogoria Route passing the dramatic Gorges Valley and Lake Michaelson to reach Chogoria Bandas or fly camp at around 3,000m. This is a long day with stats of 10 to 12 hours and around 20 km covering summit push and descent. Meals provided are breakfast lunch and dinner.

After breakfast take a pleasant 10 km walk through dense bamboo forests to the forest clearance or opt for a transfer via 4x4 vehicle. Board your vehicle at Chogoria Town for the return drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon. Stats indicate 2 to 3 hours of trekking plus drive. Meals provided are breakfast and lunch. Accommodation is return to Nairobi.
