5-Day Unforgettable Tour Safari - Midrange

Arrive in Arusha where you will be greeted, given a briefing about the safari and an overview of what happens next. Arusha acts as the gateway to northern Tanzania safari parks and offers vibrant street life, markets, museums and street food to explore. You will be accommodated at Gold Crest Hotel Arusha with meals provided (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and facilities including an onsite restaurant and swimming pool.

Travel to Tarangire National Park for full day safari activities. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant populations and baobab-studded landscapes, and offers opportunities to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, baboons, vervet monkeys, wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras. Accommodation for the night is at Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge with meals provided.

Proceed to the Central Serengeti, the heartland of the park famed for endless plains and exceptional big cat sightings. In the Central Serengeti you will have strong chances to see lions and other predators, and may observe the Great Migration depending on timing. Stay inside the park at Conserve Safari Camp and take part in game drives across the savannah grasslands and acacia-studded landscapes.

Visit Ngorongoro Crater, a spectacular natural amphitheatre with steep walls and a diverse floor that shelters abundant wildlife. From viewpoints above the rim you can watch morning mist and then descend to explore the crater floor which supports lions, hyenas, elephants, black rhinos, flamingos, golden jackals, hippo-filled lakes, a salt pan and hyena dens. Accommodation is at Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge with meals provided.

End of safari. After breakfast and lunch you will be transferred to the airport for departure. This day marks the conclusion of the northern Tanzania safari circuit and the operator will assist with departure logistics.
