The Mount Kilimanjaro climb via the Marangu Route on Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the most popular and comfortable routes to reach the summit of Africa’s highest mountain. Often called the “Coca-Cola Route,” Marangu is the only route that offers mountain huts instead of camping. This 5-day Kilimanjaro trek begins at Marangu Gate and passes through beautiful rainforest, moorland, and alpine desert landscapes before reaching the summit at Uhuru Peak (5,895 m). Climbers stay in huts at Mandara Hut, Horombo Hut, and Kibo Hut. The route is considered one of the easiest paths on Kilimanjaro, making it suitable for beginners with good physical fitness.
After breakfast, drive to Marangu Gate for registration. The trek begins through the dense rainforest of Mount Kilimanjaro National Park. You may see blue monkeys and tropical birds along the way. Hiking time: 4–5 hours Distance: 8 km Altitude: 1,870 m → 2,700 m Overnight: Mandara Hut

Midnight start for the summit attempt. Trek to Gilman's Point and continue to the highest point in Africa, Uhuru Peak (5,895 m). After celebrating and taking photos, descend to Horombo Hut. Hiking time: 10–12 hours Distance: 22 km
