Day 1

PICK UP BAGDOGRA TO PHUENTSHOLING (161.4km - 4hrs)

Meet & greet upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport. Transfer to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan, by road. Phuentsholing is a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

Day 2

PHUENTSHOLING TO THIMPHU (172km - 6hrs)

Meet & greet with your tour representative from India Bhutan Tours upon arrival. Complete immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.), the capital city of Bhutan. Enjoy local sightseeing on the way to Thimphu. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3

THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING

Explore Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital and the residence of the royal family. Visit Buddha Point and Simply Bhutan, a living museum showcasing traditional Bhutanese life. Enjoy the stunning view from BBS Tower. Explore religious sites like the National Memorial Chorten and the historic Chang Gangkha Monastery. Visit the National Zoo to see the unique national animal, the takin. Discover Bhutan’s spiritual side at the National Library and enjoy local crafts at the Handicraft Market. In the evening, visit TashiChhodzong, the secretariat building and throne room of His Majesty. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 4

THIMPHU TO PARO (65km - 2hrs)

Drive from Thimphu to Paro after breakfast. Visit Ta Dzong, a fortified lookout tower that is now the National Museum. Walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong, meaning “fortress of the heap of jewels.” Next, visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country. Continue to Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort), built in 1646 to commemorate Bhutan’s victory over Tibetan invaders in the 1600s. On a clear day, see Mount Jumolhari, Bhutan’s second-highest mountain at 7,314 meters. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 5

PARO TO PHUENTSHOLING (170km - 6hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Phuentsholing. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Day 6

PHUENTSHOLING TO BAGDOGRA (161.4km - 4hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Bagdogra/NJP. Bid farewell to India Bhutan Tours and stay in touch through email, Facebook, or WhatsApp. Proceed to the airport as per your flight schedule. Safe travels!

BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.

Important Information

As per Tourism Council Of Bhutan All Indian tourist above 12 years will have to pay 1200 per person per night as Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) and Children 5 to 12 years will have to pay 600 per person per night .Child below 5 years do not have to pay any charges.
Documents required for Bhutan Immigration is ONLY Voter id/Passport (minimum validity 6 months for passport)
• Children below 18 years can carry birth Certificate in English.
• SDF charges : Below 5 years is free - 5 to 12 years 600 per night above 12 years 1200 per night( per person per night).
• As per new Tourism rules Guide is Mandatory in Bhutan.
• Travel Insurance is Mandatory in Bhutan.
• Bhutan Immigration office remains opened from 8:30 A.M to 8 P.M all 7 days a week.
• Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced if asked by hotel.
• A valid photo ID proof for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory.
• For Extra adult in the room we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but most of the hotels only provide extra mattress or roll out bed. Most of the hotels have no provision of an extra bed.
• The above mentioned hotels will be confirmed as per the room availability. Otherwise similar category hotel will be provided. All the rooms are base category.
• Above rates are for Indian Nationals only.
