6-Day Kenya Luxury Safari | Amboseli | Nakuru | Mara NR

Nairobi is a lively bustling city at 1870m above sea level with a modern center and efficient services. On arrival you will be picked up from JKIA by a company representative and transferred to your hotel where you will be assisted with check in. Spend the first night in the capital and attend a welcome dinner where you will be given a briefing of the safari.

After an early morning breakfast in Nairobi travel south to Amboseli National Park which sits against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli lies in the semi arid part of the country and is usually hot and dry but is fed by an underground water supply from Kilimanjaro that forms clear springs at the heart of the park. Reach your safari camp in time for the included lunch, take a tour of the safari camp and enjoy an afternoon game drive where you have excellent chances to see large herds of elephants and other wildlife.

After breakfast depart the Amboseli safari camp and head by road towards Lake Nakuru National Park in the Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru is known for flamingos and diverse wildlife including zebras monkeys rhinos and more. Take an afternoon game drive through the park watching for wildlife and enjoy the sight of flamingos which once numbered in the millions. Return to the lodge before sunset and sit for an included dinner.

Continue the safari to the Masai Mara National Reserve the land of the Maasai and a highlight for its annual migration of wildebeest gazelle and zebra between July and September. Arrive at the camp in time for lunch followed by a first afternoon game drive with opportunities to see Africas Big Five and hunt sightings. Return to the safari camp before nightfall and enjoy the included dinner.

Begin the day with an early breakfast and set out for a morning game drive across the rolling hills savanna grasses and acacia trees of the Masai Mara. Immerse in the Maasai way of life during a visit to a local village and continue game drives where the Masai Mara has a high density of lions and opportunities to witness Big Five hunt scenes. Return to camp after the afternoon game drive and have dinner with an overnight stay at Masai Mara.

Have breakfast at the Mara then set off for Nairobi. Tour the Karen Blixen Estate a former coffee plantation featured in Out of Africa and enjoy an included lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Garden. Spend the afternoon shopping and thereafter be transferred to the airport for your flight home marking the end of the tour.
