This 6 days safari/tour starts in Entebbe and ends in Entebbe/Kampala. It takes you to Kibale National Park; it also takes you to Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drives and boat cruise, takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking and ends in Entebbe.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive in Uganda and transfer to Kibale National Park

  You will depart Kampala after breakfast and head westwards to Fort Portal town. The drive will take about 4 -5 hours. You will have lunch in Fort Portal and continue to Kibale National Park. You will have an opportunity to relax at your hotel.

• Day 2 :

  Chimpanzee tracking and nature walk, After breakfast you will report at the Kanyanchu Tourist Centre at 08.00 am for a briefing before tracking the chimpanzees. The park is only accessible on foot and the walk will provide you with the opportunity to also see a variety of other primates and animals as well as birds, and a variety of butterflies, and other insects. You will return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon go for a nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland to see a variety of birds and monkey species. You will have dinner and overnight at your lodge.

• Day 3 :

  After early breakfast, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National park.Game drive and boat cruise, an awesome experience to spot the animals in natural habitats. Expect to see the famous Big Five; Elephant, Buffalos, Lions, Bush bucks, Kobs, Giant forest hog, Hyenas leopards, antelopes, and Waterbucks as well as birds. You will return for breakfast and relax till lunch. In the afternoon you will take a launch cruise along the amazing Kazinga channel to see at close range the water animals to include Hippos, Buffalos, and Crocodiles. There is also a variety of bird species on the water banks especially the famous Shoebill, pelican and Jacana.

• Day 4 :

  After an early breakfast, take an early game drive to Ishasha sector in the search for the tree climbing Lions and other animal species such as the monkeys and many others. In the afternoon after your lunch you will head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

• Day 5 :

  You will have an early breakfast and be driven to the Park Headquarters for a briefing at 7:30am about the rules of Mountain Gorilla tracking. After the briefing, you will set off for the Mountain Gorilla hunt in the thick jungle. The jungle is very lively with rich forest sounds. The trek ranges between 2 – 8 hours and you have one hour to stay with the Mountain Gorillas once sited. In the afternoon you can opt for a community walk among the Batwa people who used to live in the Bwindi forest before it was gazetted as a National Park and learn about their life and culture as a forest people. You will have dinner and overnight at your previous lodge.
  
  Main Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

• Day 6 :

  You will depart Bwindi Impenetrable National Park after breakfast and travel back to Kampala via the equator with a stopover for lunch en-route . You will arrive in Kampala in the late afternoon.
  
  Main Destination: Entebbe
