Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Bagdogra / Njp → Phuentsholing

On arrival at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station, meet and greet by our representative and transfer to Phuentsholing. Distance: Approx. 180 km Travel Time: Approx. 3–4 hours Phuentsholing is a small border town located at the Indo-Bhutan border. Evening at leisure. Overnight Stay: Phuentsholing

Day 2 Phuentsholing → Thimphu

After breakfast, proceed to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, via Chukha. Distance: Approx. 145 km Travel Time: Approx. 5 hours Altitude of Thimphu: Approx. 2,300 metres Thimphu is situated in a beautiful valley along the Thimphu Chhu River. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure. You may enjoy a relaxed evening walk around the city and explore the local surroundings. Overnight Stay: Thimphu

Day 3 Thimphu → Punakha & Wangdue Excursion → Thimphu

Simtokha Dzong

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Punakha and Wangdue. One-way distance: Approx. 70 km Travel Time: Approx. 2 hours En route, visit Simtokha Dzong and continue towards Wangdue. Stop at the scenic Dochula Pass (3,100 m), which offers spectacular Himalayan views on a clear day. Continue towards Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan. Visit: Punakha Dzong (Entry fee on direct payment basis) Punakha Suspension Bridge After sightseeing, return to Thimphu by evening. Overnight Stay: Thimphu

After breakfast, proceed for Thimphu city sightseeing. Visit: Art & Craft School National Institute of Traditional Medicine National Library Buddha Dordenma Statue Simply Bhutan Museum Folk & Heritage Museum Motithang Takin Preserve Drupthob Nunnery Temple Local Market After lunch, proceed to Paro. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight Stay: Paro

Day 5 Paro Sightseeing → Phuentsholing

After an early breakfast, check out and proceed for Paro sightseeing. Visit: Drukgyal Dzong Paro Airport Viewpoint Dungtse Lhankhang Nya-mey Zam Ugyen Pelri Palace Enjoy the scenic mountain views and beautiful landscapes throughout the journey. After sightseeing, proceed to Phuentsholing. Overnight Stay: Phuentsholing

CHILD POLICY

Children above 11 years will be charged 100% of the adult rate.
Children aged 5–11 years sharing the parent's room will be charged as per CWB/CNB policy, as applicable.
Children below 5 years are complimentary.
(For 5-star properties, children below 3 years are complimentary.)
Hotels may strictly enforce their child policy. Guests are advised to carry valid age proof.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR BHUTAN

Voter ID Card / Passport with validity of more than 6 months from the date of travel.
For children below 18 years, Birth Certificate is mandatory if they do not hold a passport. The document should be in English.
Note: The above rates are applicable to Indian Nationals only.

DO'S & DON'TS IN BHUTAN

DO'S
Respect Bhutanese culture, traditions and religious practices.
The traditional Bhutanese greeting is “Kuzu Zangpola” and “Tashi Delek” is commonly used as a greeting/wish.
Indian nationals require a route permit to travel within Bhutan.
Carry Bhutanese Ngultrum (Nu.) or Indian Rupees (INR) for local purchases.
Use your right hand while giving or receiving items.
While visiting religious sites, walk keeping the holy structures on your right side.
Carry some local currency, especially when travelling to remote areas where ATM/card facilities may be limited.
DON'TS
Do not carry, sell or distribute tobacco products in violation of Bhutanese regulations.
Remove footwear before entering religious places where required.
Dress modestly and respectfully, especially while visiting temples and monasteries.
Foreign nationals should follow the applicable regulations regarding carrying Indian currency across the Bhutan border.
Buying or selling antiques is strictly prohibited.
Avoid encouraging children to beg by offering money, toys or treats in exchange for photographs.

Rooms are not blocked. Hotel availability is subject to confirmation at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to rearrange the itinerary according to hotel availability without changing the total number of nights/days or compromising the agreed services.
Vehicles will be AC/NAC as applicable and are provided for point-to-point services as per the itinerary.
The vehicle is not at disposal and clients are requested to follow the planned itinerary.
Standard vehicle service hours are 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM. Emergency assistance may be available 24 hours.
Guests are requested to share their exact arrival and departure timings in advance so that transfers can be arranged accordingly.
Any additional services or changes requested by the guest will be subject to additional charges, wherever applicable.

Cancellation Period - Cancellation Charges
Less than 7 days before travel - 100% of package cost
7–15 days before travel - 75% of package cost
16–40 days before travel - 50% of package cost
More than 40 days before travel - Refund of package cost after deducting processing fees of ₹1,000 per person

For 4-star premium and 5-star properties: Cancellation charges will be governed by the respective hotel's cancellation policy.
