Terms & Conditions

Karma Tours & Travel – Bhutan
1. Booking & Confirmation
All tour bookings must be confirmed with a passport copy and a deposit payment. The booking will only be confirmed once the required payment is received and permits/visa are approved by the Bhutan Tourism Authority.
2. Payment Policy
• A 30% deposit is required to confirm the booking.
• The remaining balance must be paid 30 days before arrival in Bhutan.
• For last-minute bookings, 100% payment is required in advance.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation must be made in writing via email.
Cancellation charges apply as follows:
• 30 days before arrival: 10% cancellation fee
• 15–29 days before arrival: 25% cancellation fee
• 7–14 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee
• Less than 7 days before arrival or no show: 100% cancellation fee
Government fees (SDF and visa) may follow Bhutan Tourism Authority regulations.
4. Travel Documents
All travelers must carry a valid passport with at least 6 months validity. Visa processing will be arranged by Karma Tours & Travel after receiving required documents and payment.
5. Changes to Itinerary
Karma Tours & Travel reserves the right to adjust the itinerary due to weather conditions, road conditions, festivals, or government regulations to ensure the safety and comfort of guests.
6. Responsibility
Karma Tours & Travel acts only as an agent for hotels, transport providers, airlines, and other service providers. We are not responsible for delays, accidents, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control.
7. Travel Insurance
All guests are strongly recommended to have comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, accidents, and loss of belongings.
8. Health & Safety
Travelers must ensure they are medically fit to travel. Karma Tours & Travel is not responsible for any illness or injury during the tour.
9. Liability
Karma Tours & Travel shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or additional expenses caused by unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, flight delays, political disturbances, or force majeure.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming the booking and making payment, the traveler agrees to all the above terms and conditions.
