Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Paro - Thimphu

Arrive at Paro airport, renowned for its spectacular mountain views.
Enjoy the scenic descent over the Paro Valley.
Meet the local representative and transfer to Thimphu (approx. 60km 1.5 hr drive).
Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 2

Thimphu

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Thimphu.
Visit the National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Statute and Takin Zoo
Stop at the Traschichho Dzong for a glimpse.
Explore the National Library, Folk Heritage Museum, and Handicraft Bazaar.
Take a leisurely walk-through Centenary Park and shop Clock Tower Square.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3

Punakha

Drive to Punakha Valley, Stopping at Dochula Pass (10,000 ft) for stunning views.
Visit the 108 Druk Wangyel Chortens and Royal Botanical Park at Lamperi.
Continue through Thinleygang village and Chimmi Lhakhang.
Visit Punakha Dzong, located at the Confluence of Pho Chu and MO Chu Rivers.
Overnight stay in Punakha.

Day 4

Gangtey Valley

Drive to Gangtey Valley, passing through Wangdue Phodrang Dzong.
Explore the old town and its narrow streets.
Visit the Gangtey Monastery in the beautiful Gangtey Valley.
Overnight stay in Phobjikha/ Gangtey.

Day 5

Paro

Drive to Paro via the Babesa express highway.
Stop at Chuzom check post and stretch your legs.
Continue to Paro and check in to the hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.

Paro

Early breakfast followed by a hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest)
Experience breathtaking views and a spiritual journey.
If time permits, visit Paro Dzong, the National Museum, and Kyichu Lhakhang.
Explore the ruins of Drugyel Dzong and visit the town for leisure or shopping.
Overnight stay in Paro.

Paro - Drop

Drive to Paro, visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and Rinpung Dzong.
