Every year from July through October more than 1.5 million the wildebeest and more than 200,000 zebras and Gazelles migrate from the Great Plains of the Serengeti and into the rolling savannahs of Masai Mara in Kenya. They are relentlessly pursued by the Africa great predators, lions, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas; this is the best time to be in Kenya and by far the best time to see the river crossings. Everyone should have the opportunity once in their lifetime to stand on the great savannah of Masai Mara to witness one of the last wildlife spectacles on planet earth. This natural phenomenon draws the attention of predators and it is quite simply a wildlife enthusiasts and photographer’s paradise. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli

  Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli
  This morning, we depart Nairobi by road through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park, home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen and famous for huge herds of Elephant.
  Arrive for lunch at AA Lodge Amboseli.
  After lunch an afternoon 'Spice' game run is planned. In addition to Elephant, Antelope, Zebra, Wildebeest, Buffalo and the elusive Leopard, nearly every vista within the Park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

• Day 2 : AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

  Day 2: Full day Amboseli
  Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another stimulating ‘Spice’ game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons.
  after lunch depart for an afternoon game drive. Optional visit to a Masai village can be arranged after breakfast at an extra small fee.
  Masai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world.
  A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals.
  
  Dinner and overnight at AA Lodge Amboseli or similar.

• Day 3 : Day 3: Amboseli - Naivasha

  After breakfast depart for Naivasha.
  Arrive for lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
  
  Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake and It is part of the Great Rift Valley. The name is derived from the local Maasai name Nai’posha, meaning “rough water” because of the sudden storms which can arise.
  Lake Naivasha is a bird watcher’s paradise. African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson's gazelle, and baboons are also common. The park is also home to klipspringer antelope and Chanler's mountain reedbuck.

• Day 4 : LAKE NAIVASHA -MASAI MARA

  Day 4: Naivasha - Masai Mara
  Breakfast at the hotel and then depart for Masai Mara.
  Arrive for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge.
  
  1600 hrs, depart for an afternoon game drive.
  Explore Masai Mara, Kenya's finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary where gentle rolling grassland ensures animals are never out of sight.
  
  The first sight of this Game Park is breathtaking. There is nowhere else on earth to compare with this wildlife marvel. The combination of a gentle climate, scenic splendor and untold numbers of wildlife makes the Masai Mara National Reserve Kenya's most popular inland destination. Centuries of close association with wildlife has resulted in an almost symbiotic relationship where wildlife and Masai people live in peace with one another. You can pay a visit to a Masai Village.   1800 hrs, return to the Camp for dinner and overnight.

• Day 5 : MASAI MARA

  Day 5: Full day Masai Mara
  After breakfast leave for a full day game drive with picnic lunch at Mara River.
  
  Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers.
  
  The ultimate action here is without doubt the annual wildebeest exodus, the Great Migration, in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning south again in October to December.

  Depart for a full day game drive at 0830 hrs.
