7-Day Big Five Adventure- a Unique Kenya Bush Expedition

After breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi you will be picked up and driven through the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara National Reserve. The reserve is part of the Serengeti plains famous for the great wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino. Lunch will be at camp followed by an afternoon game drive where you can view Maasai giraffe, buffalo, eland and thousands of plains game including impala, zebra, topi and both Thompsons and Grant gazelles. Accommodation is at a mid range tented camp located just outside Masai Mara NR. All meals and drinking water are included though other drinks are not.

After breakfast at 6.30 am you will depart for a full day game drive in Masai Mara with a packed lunch. The day is spent searching for large herds of herbivores, cheetahs and leopards and abundant birdlife. The midday meal will be at the picnic Mara River migration point. You will return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight at the same mid range tented camp. All meals and drinking water are included though other drinks are not.

You will have an early morning game drive until about 9.30 am searching for animals engaged in hunting and feeding, then return to camp or lodge for breakfast. After breakfast there is time to visit a Maasai village before departing for Nairobi with lunch at Narok. After lunch you will continue to Lake Naivasha arriving late afternoon for a boat trip to see many species of birds and water animals such as hippos and to take photographs. Accommodation at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort with all meals and drinking water included though other drinks are not.

Early morning game activity at Hells Gate National Park where guests can cycle or walk while seeing wildlife. After returning for breakfast you will leave for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch with a game drive en route seeking leopards. After lunch there will be another game drive focusing on finding the two species of rhino, black and white, and viewing many bird species including thousands of flamingos. Accommodation is at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge inside the park with all meals and drinking water included though other drinks are not.

You will have an early morning game drive in search of wild animals then return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you will depart for Amboseli National Park with a hot lunch at Nairobi. Arriving late in the evening at Amboseli there is the possibility of a late evening game drive if time allows. Amboseli is renowned for its scenery with a backdrop of snow capped Mount Kilimanjaro dominating the landscape. Accommodation is at a mid range tented camp just outside Amboseli NP with all meals and drinking water included though other drinks are not.

Breakfast at 6.30 am followed by departure with a packed lunch for a full day game drive in Amboseli National Park. The day is spent searching for popular residents including predators and their prey such as zebra, giraffe, hippo and large elephants, with views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Accommodation is at a mid range tented camp just outside Amboseli NP with all meals and drinking water included though other drinks are not.

Early morning game drive searching for animals engaged in hunting and feeding then return to the lodge for breakfast and check out. You will depart for Nairobi with a picnic lunch en route and be dropped at your place of choice in Nairobi. The tour ends with no accommodation included though additional accommodation can be arranged at extra cost. Meals on this day include breakfast and lunch; dinner is not included. Drinking water is provided though other drinks are not.
