7 Days 6 Nights Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Hells Gate & Lake Naivasha

Your safari begins in Nairobi with an early morning departure to Masai Mara National Reserve through the scenic Great Rift Valley. En route there will be stopovers at the Rift Valley viewpoint for photography and refreshments. Upon arrival at the camp or lodge guests will check in and enjoy lunch followed by relaxation. In the evening an introductory game drive will be conducted within the reserve focusing on wildlife viewing, photography, birdwatching, and sunset viewing across the savannah plains where guests may spot elephants giraffes zebras buffaloes antelopes and lions. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge or tented camp with optional Maasai cultural entertainment around a bonfire.

After an early breakfast guests will depart for a full day game drive in the Masai Mara with a packed picnic lunch. Activities throughout the day include searching for the Big Five visiting the Mara River to observe hippos and crocodiles wildlife photography bird watching and learning about the ecosystem from professional safari guides. Depending on the migration season guests may witness wildebeest river crossings. Optional activities include visiting a Masai village for cultural interaction traditional dance performances storytelling sessions and shopping for handmade crafts and beadwork. This day allows guests to further explore the diverse landscapes and wildlife of the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives focusing on tracking predators such as cheetahs leopards hyenas and lions while also observing elephants giraffes and various antelope species. After breakfast guests will depart the Masai Mara and travel to Lake Naivasha located within the Great Rift Valley region. Upon arrival guests will check into the lodge and enjoy lunch before proceeding for afternoon activities. Activities at Lake Naivasha include a boat safari to view hippos and aquatic birdlife such as fish eagles and pelicans and a visit to Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among giraffes zebras gazelles and wildebeests. Evening leisure activities include lakeside relaxation nature photography and bird watching before dinner and overnight stay.

Following breakfast guests will proceed to Hells Gate National Park for adventure and exploration activities. Activities include guided walking safaris cycling among wildlife hiking through scenic gorges rock climbing and viewing geothermal formations and dramatic cliffs. Wildlife commonly seen includes zebras buffaloes gazelles giraffes and numerous bird species. In the afternoon guests return to Lake Naivasha for optional activities such as horseback riding spa treatments boat rides sunset viewing or relaxation at the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

After breakfast guests will travel to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive within this renowned wildlife sanctuary. Activities include rhino tracking flamingo viewing during the appropriate season birdwatching photography and searching for lions leopards Rothschild giraffes baboons and waterbucks. Guests will also visit scenic viewpoints overlooking the lake and escarpments while enjoying picnic lunches within designated areas. The afternoon may include relaxation at the lodge before dinner and overnight stay in Nakuru or Naivasha depending on accommodation plans.

After breakfast guests will depart for Nairobi with stopovers at souvenir markets and craft centers for shopping and photography. Depending on flight schedules or guest preferences optional activities in Nairobi may include visiting Nairobi National Park for a short game drive touring the Giraffe Centre to feed endangered Rothschild giraffes or exploring cultural attractions and local restaurants before airport transfer or hotel drop off marking the end of the safari.
