Begin your journey from Nairobi in the afternoon and travel towards Amboseli. After arriving and checking in, enjoy a relaxing lunch before heading out for your first game drive. Amboseli, whose name means “salty dust” in Maasai, is famed for its elephant herds and offers one of the best locations to see these majestic animals up close. As you explore, marvel at the five unique habitats, including the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands, savannah, and woodlands. With stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance, the park is a photographer’s paradise, where you might also spot giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and hundreds of bird species.
