Leh- Ladakh
Ladakh lies at altitudes ranging from about 9,000 feet (2750m) at Kargil to 25,170 feet (7,672m) at Saser Kangri in the Karakoram. It is sometimes called "Little Tibet" as it has been strongly influenced by Tibetan culture. Since 1974 the Indian Government has encouraged tourism in Ladakh.
Leh - the Capital of Ladakh is the the largest town. Best time to visit Leh is June To End September.

Nubra Valley
Originally named as Ldumra, meaning ‘The valley of flowers’, Nubra Valley is located 150 km away from Ladakh. Known as the orchard of Ladakh, the valley on the foothills of karakoram ranges is dotted with yellow and pink wild rosed during summers and wild lavender post monsoons.

Pangong
Just about 160 km from Leh is a beautiful lake named the Pangong Lake in Ladakh. A drive to this lake will result in one of the most wonderful experiences. The journey begins at Thiksey village, which is famous for its huge monasteries covering an entire mountain range. And beyond this remote village there is nothing but the vast expanse of extreme mountain ranges for company. An interesting observation of the topography throughout this journey is that they throw off all calculations of distance somewhat like a mirage-effect, what looked to be a ten-minute crossing easily requires an hour or more!

You can enjoy shopping for curios and souvenirs in the bazaars and markets of Leh, while on your tour of Ladakh. Pashmina shawls, stoles and other Pashmina wool garments, Locally handmade woolen socks, gloves, caps and sweaters, Tibetan handicraft items like prayer wheels, Buddhist masks and Thangka paintings, Tibetan silver jewelry and traditional Ladakhi jewelry with turquoise, Handwoven rugs, carpets and shawls are popular with tourists.

Nubra
Diskit, Panamik, Samstanling monasteries and Khardung la Pass. Bubra Shopping Tips The only place in Nubra Valley where you can shop is the Diskit Market. But we recommend you do your shopping in Leh if variety is what you’re looking for.

Pangong
Nestled at an elevation of 4300 meters, the crystal clear brackish waters of Pangong Lake changes its color in many shades of blue and green with the changing position of the sun in the sky. About 1/4th of the lake lies in India and the rest flows into the Tibet region of China. It is a breeding point for various migratory birds such as Bar headed goose and Brahmini ducks.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Leh (Visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace in Evening).

  Experience a wonderful flight over the Himalaya .On arrival, you will be receive by Kailash expeditions representative and transfer to hotel. After welcome tea and coffee, rest for whole day & and let your body take complete acclimatization . Late afternoon , if health permits ,drive to Shanti Stupa & stay back . Overnight Hotel.

• Day 2 : Hall Of Fame / Magnetic Hill / Gurudwara/ Sangam Point

  Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we take you for a tour of Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Kali Temple and Sangam. At Sangam you can enjoy rafting on Zangskar river.
  Hall of Fame is a must visit for every patriotic Indian. It has been built by Indian army in memory of soldiers who lost their lives in Kargil war. Return to Leh in the afternoon.
  Gurdwara Patthar Sahib located at a distance of 40 kms from Leh, was constructed in 1571, in memory of Guru Nanak to commemorate his visit to this region.
  Magnetic Hill is the place where you will see your car, with its engine turned off, move upwards on a steep slope. It almost sounds unbelievable.
  The Sangam is the place called Nimu where the Zanskarriver and Indus rivers merge. In the evening come back to Leh. Overnight Hotel.

• Day 3 : Leh /Nubra Valley via Khardongla. 125km.

  After an early breakfast ,drive to beautiful Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motor-able road in the World, 18,380 ft) with the zig zag trail continues and drive till Hundar village. On arrival check in Hotel or camp. Afternoon enjoy the beauty of sand dune and double hump camel ride. Overnight at Camp or Hotel.
  
  KHARDUNGLA PASS: The road journey to Nubra valley leads through Khardung La pass (The highest Motorable road in the world) 18,390 ft. around 39 Kms. Away from Leh. There are two checkpoints on the both sides of the pass. Khardong is the first village of Nubra valley at higher altitude than Deskit and other villages.
  
  DESKIT VILLAGE: Deskit is the main village of headquarter of Nubra valley, which has a small market consisting of a row of shops and about 500 years old Gompa on the hilltop. Spectacular view of the valley can be seen form the monastery.
  
  DESKIT GOMPA: Deskit Gompa was founded by Lama Sherab Zangpo of Stod in about 1420 AD during the reign of King Dragspa. About 100 monks are residing in the Gompa, which is a branch of Thikse Monastery. The monastic festival called Gustor takes place on 20th and 21st days of the 12th month of Tibetan calendar.
  
  HUNDAR VILLAGE: Hundar is a beautiful village to stay with lot of trees and you will really enjoy your stay at Hundar. It has a small monastery and ruined fort above the village. The walk or Camel Safari (Double Hump bacterian camels) from Hundar to Deskit, through sand dunes for two hours is wonderful (on own).

• Day 4 : Turtuk excursion (Former Baltistan)

  Early morning drive to TurTuk village with drive landscape, Exotic village. Turtuk this village is about 115 kms from Nubra valley and can take about 3 to 4 hours to reach here, the total population of Turtuk is just 4000 and follow islam as about 40 years back this village was under Pakistan and speak Baltistan language, explore this beautiful village and explore the life here, we will go for a walk around the village and also meet the people. Later Come back to Hunder villag. Overnight at the camps or Hotel.

• Day 5 : Siachen Base Camp, OP Baba Temple & Panamik Hot Springs

  Today after breakfast, leave for the base camp of Siachen glacier. Visit OP Baba temple in the base along with the war memorial. Later return back to Hunder via Panamik hot water springs. Later drive back to Hundar. Overnight at the Hotel.

• Day 6 : Disket/ Hunder/ Pangong Lake (Via Shayok)

  Today , we get up early morning visit to Diskit monastery and have wonderful view of Nubra valley. Later drive to Pangong Lake via Shayok. Enjoy the turquoise color panoramic lake and the magnificent mountains and landscapes which will leave you awestruck . Overnight at Camp.

• Day 7 : Pangong /Leh

  After a late breakfast, we stroll in and around lake and watch the mother nature soothes you. Later drive back to Leh by visiting Thiksay monasteries and Shay Palace, if not visited the day before . Overnight Hotel.
