Depending on your arrival time, you will have time to relax and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime. Busy Arusha is an essential part of safari life here in northern Tanzania, and most travelers pass through at some stage. Accommodation: Pazuri Inn (Mid-range lodge located in Arusha). Activities : Game Drives

After breakfast, your safari guide will collect you from your accommodation. You will drive to Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River, the region's only water source for wildlife during the dry season. The park is renowned for its elephant families, often seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffes, bushbuck, and hartebeest, with predators like lions and leopards following closely. The park is a haven for bird species, boasting more breeding birds than anywhere else on the planet. Ancient baobab trees, some over a thousand years old, are also a highlight. Lunch will be at a picnic site inside the park, followed by a transit to your accommodation in Karatu. Accommodation: Pamoja Olea Lodge (Mid-range lodge located in Karatu). After breakfast, drive into the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping to see the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Then transit through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti, entering the park's south. The Serengeti is famous for its vast open grasslands, offering excellent wildlife sightings. You'll encounter an abundance of wildlife, such as impalas, buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos, and have a good chance of seeing predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. After breakfast, travel through the Serengeti towards the northern region, stopping to experience more wonders on the way. The Serengeti is best known for its annual great migration, where vast numbers of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope move in search of fresh grazing. At this time of year, the migration is usually in the Northern Serengeti. Overnight will be at a mid-range seasonal tented camp. Explore the diverse landscape of the Northern Serengeti, consisting of hills, riverine forests, plains, and rocky outcrops. The Mara River cuts through this area, providing the setting for the dramatic river crossings during the migration. Watch as over two million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebra and antelope cross the Mara River, facing challenges from Nile crocodiles and predators like lions, hyenas, leopards, and cheetahs on the other side. After breakfast, slowly return to Central Serengeti with an en route game drive. Continue your search for migrating animals and explore the ever-changing Serengeti landscape. Gently wind your way back through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area, seeing more animals on the way. Reach the crater by lunchtime and experience the pristine wilderness concealed by the steep volcanic walls. The crater includes savannahs, acacia woodlands, lakes, and swamps. Created by a volcanic explosion two to three million years ago, it is home to large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and over 500 bird species. The crater is the best place to see the endangered black rhino. After an afternoon game drive, head to your accommodation in Karatu. Accommodation: Pamoja Olea Lodge (Mid-range lodge located 1-2 hours from Ngorongoro Crater). Meals & Drinks: All meals included, Drinking water (Other drinks not included).

After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park. This small but diverse park is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species, as well as monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, and elephants.
