Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a representative from Lion King will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. You will be staying at the serene and picturesque Arusha Planet Lodge, a perfect retreat to unwind after your journey. After breakfast, your personal safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha. You'll embark on a journey to Tarangire National Park, traveling through the scenic Masai plains dotted with acacia trees. Along the way, you'll encounter vibrant Masai communities going about their daily life—walking in traditional attire, riding bicycles, herding cattle, and navigating donkey carts.

Upon arrival at Tarangire National Park, renowned for its impressive elephant herds, you'll explore diverse landscapes from the open roof of your safari jeep. Experience the seasonal swamps, savannah, and the vital Tarangire River while seeking out a range of wildlife, including zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, elephants, and giraffes. Rise early for a day of exploration! Our journey takes us to the lush highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where we'll visit the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater—one of Africa's seven natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Upon reaching the crater rim, we'll descend the steep track into the caldera, a 600-meter-deep volcanic bowl teeming with wildlife. This massive, collapsed volcano supports a remarkable array of animals, including the "Big Five," spotted hyenas, and over 500 bird species. The crater’s diverse landscapes feature grasslands, a shimmering lake, and a variety of habitats, offering exceptional wildlife viewing.

After a full day of game drives and a picnic lunch in the crater, we’ll return to your hotel in Karatu. Here, you'll enjoy a relaxing evening with dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on the breathtaking experiences of the day.

After breakfast, we set off for Lake Manyara National Park, your final destination on this safari adventure. Located 120 kilometers west of Arusha, this compact yet diverse park is renowned for its stunning landscapes and rich wildlife. The park’s namesake, Lake Manyara, is a shallow, saltwater lake that fluctuates with the seasons, attracting thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species.

As we explore the park, you'll have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and elephants. With some luck, you might even spot the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. After a delightful lunch in the park, we’ll return to Arusha in the late afternoon. From there, you’ll catch your flight to Zanzibar, where a new chapter of your adventure awaits.
