After flying from Arusha Airport to Katavi National Park you will be transferred to Chada Katavi in time for lunch. You will be staying here for 3 nights on a full board basis.
Bush walks with an armed guard, and game drives will introduce you to the wild and remote Western Tanzania.
You may try the option of flycamping or simply explore the area more extensively together with your guide, with the option of doing so in a private vehicle.
After a morning of game watching you will be transferred to Katavi airstrip for your onward flight to Mahale Mountains National Park. After a picnic lunch you will be transferred by boat to Greystoke Mahale for 4 nights on a full board basis.
