8 Days Tanzania Safari Tour

Distance: 55km/1hrs drive

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met and greeted by our transfer/safari driver who will introduce to you about our beautiful country and then escort you to Moshi City or Arusha City in your chosen accommodation for evening rest to get ready for your next day adventure.

Distance: 198km/3hrs drive

After breakfast, collect our picnic lunch boxes then we take a short pleasant morning drive to Tarangire National Park, Arrival at the gate our driver will do all the government procedures then proceed inside the park for a full day game drive in the park located slightly off the main safari route. Tarangire National Park is a lovely quiet park in Northern Tanzania most famous for its elephant migration, and birding safari with a quiet atmosphere. Later in the evening we drive to the lodge/hotel for evening leisure and overnight.

On this day after having breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed for a full day of exploring Tarangire National Park and its attractions as well as enjoying an amazing game viewing experiences as you drive around the baobab trees and savannah trees in the national park. You will see a variety of animals in the morning since they are very active at this time of day such as leopards, elephants, zebras, antelopes, elands, gazelles, lions among others.

You will also engage in an afternoon game drive after lunch as you enjoy seeing more animals and birds, and the beautiful landscape. Your guide will drive you back to your lodge at the end of your wildlife viewing for dinner and overnight stay.

On this day after breakfast we depart the lodge andwe will drive to Serengeti National Park. As we drive to Serengeti on a road near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, allowing for animal sightings along the way. The golden savannah and endless plains, teeming with zebras, wildebeest and giraffes make it easy to understand why the Serengeti is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. On this day, we will enjoy a picnic lunch on Naabai kopje (a small, rocky hill in a generally flat area), where you will have the opportunity to view the Serengeti’s famous pink-headed lizards. After lunch, we will proceed further into the plains for a leisurely game drive. You will spend the night in the one of the accommodations in Serengeti National park and fall asleep to the playful calls of the zebra and hyenas.

We will begin the day in heart of the Serengeti. The animals found in the Serengeti are extremely diverse so visitors will likely enjoy views of lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, water buffalo, zebras, and wildebeest. In addition, elands, hyenas, gazelles, crocodiles, giraffe, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos and antelopes are all found within the park. Don’t worry about the time of year of your safari, because there are animals within the Serengeti all year! After the game drive, a delectable dinner will be served at the lodge within the heart of Serengeti National Park.

This day marks the last day of game drive in Serengeti before we make our way to Ngorongoro Crater. After an exciting game drive full of animal sightings and a picnic lunch, we will drive to the Crater. This night we will accommodate in Karatu town overlooking the unbroken caldera of Ngorongoro Crater. The views of the sunset over the savannah are absolutely breathtaking. After a long day of adventuring, guests will enjoy a tasty dinner prepared by our friendly cooks.

After an early morning breakfast, we will hurry to Ngorongoro Crater, as it is the best time to spot animals. On this day, we will enjoy a game drive around the crater and stop for a picnic lunch at a small lake within the park. The lake is home to many hippos and migratory birds, so guests will be sure to enjoy the visit! Due to the animal “oasis” created within the crater, there is a high possibility of spotting every member of ‘The Big 5’. The group comprises some of the strongest animals in Africa – the ferocious lion, the giant elephant, the stealthy leopard, the charging rhino and the mighty water buffalo. Ngorongoro Crater is truly an amazing place. Did you know it was formed over two million of years ago? A large volcano erupted, collapsing the volcano, but left a perfectly unbroken crater, known as a caldera. Within the amazing crater you can expect to view the playful zebra, lumbering hippo, swift wildebeest and cackling hyenas. In addition, there are flocks of graceful flamingos along the Soda Lake, while hungry hawks and vultures circle the sky in search their next meal of discarded carcass. Beautiful storks, ibis, and cranes are popular water birds in the crater, a sight not to miss. After a lovely afternoon of animal sightings, we will finally start our journey back to Karatu town.

Very Early in the morning after your breakfast you will be driving to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive with our picnic lunch. Upon your arrival Manyara you will be welcomed by the Great Rift Valley Escarpment view and fun makers’ baboon at the entrance of Manyara in large groups. We will travel through the agricultural and fresh produce market town of MtoWaMbu, which is situated next to the entrance of the Lake Manyara National Park.

The town is a souvenir hunter’s paradise, harboring thousands souvenir salesmen – ready to pounce at your slightest invitation. The Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located African wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals; including one of Africa’s densely populated of herd of African elephant, famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos, attracted by the algae in the lake.

After an Unbeatable & Unforgettable experience later in the mid-day or afternoon depending on your flight Departure details you head to Kilimanjaro International Airport for you flight to back home or to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
