9 Days Darjeeling - Kalimpong - Gangtok - Lachung Tour

Meet and Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra International Airport and transfer to Darjeeling (6,950 Ft.). On arrival check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Activities : Sightseeing

Early morning (4:00 AM) visit Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of Permit / Token) and then back to hotel. After breakfast, starting at 8.30 AM, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ropeway, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Note: Optional tour to Nathula Pass (Alt 14000Ft.) on China Border can also be arranged (Except Monday) for Indian Nationals only at an additional cost & documents required 7 days prior to departure for Nathula pass. Please note Nathula Pass permits are issued on the day of travel only as per availability and clubbed with other group, once the permit is issued the amount will be non refundable.

After breakfast, transfer to Kalimpong (4,091 Ft. / 55 Kms. / 2½ Hrs.). On arrival check-in to your hotel. Afternoon enjoy half day tour of Kalimpong visiting Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Golf Course, Durpin Dara Hills and Pine View Nursery (Sunday closed). Overnight stay at Kalimpong.

After breakfast, transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft. / 78 Kms. / 3 Hrs.). On arrival, check-in to your hotel. After that half day Gangtok city tour visiting Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre (Closed on Sunday and 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month), Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Dro-dul Chorten, Gonjang Monastery and Banjakhri Falls (maximum 3-4 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Note: Optional Yumesamdong Valley or Zero Point (Alt 15700 ft.) for Indian tourists only at an additional cost.

After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. / 37 Kms. / 02 Hrs. from Gangtok) and further drive to Baba Mandir (13,200 ft. / 16 Kms. / 01 Hrs. from Tsomgo Lake). Evening back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok. Note: • Documents for Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir – 02 Passport Size Photo along with Photo Copy of Photo ID Proof (Passport or Driving License or Voter ID (Pan Card & Adhaar Card is not accepted). For Children below 18 years, Birth Certificate / School Id / College Id are must. Original needs to carry while travelling. • In case of Land slide or any other reason, if Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing.

After breakfast check out from hotel with limited luggage and proceed to Lachung (8,738 Ft.) in North Sikkim. On the way, take a break for some beautiful spots that are worth seeing and visiting like Naga Waterfall, The Confluence of Lachen Chu (River) and Lachung Chu (River) at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall. On arrival at Lachung, check into your hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Lachung. Note: • Documents for Lachung – 02 Passport Size Photo along with Photo Copy of Photo ID Proof (Passport or Driving License or Voter ID (Pan Card & Adhaar Card is not accepted). For Children below 18 years, Birth Certificate / School Id / College Id are must. Original needs to carry while travelling.

After breakfast proceed to Yumthang Valley, which is known as Valley of Flowers (12,000 ft.). Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks and winter playgrounds of yetis. On the way back, visit Hot Spring which is considered to have medicinal properties. Back to the hotel in the afternoon. After lunch free for individual activities, Dinner and Overnight stay at Lachung.

Note: Optional Toy Train Joy Ride can be done on this day at an additional cost. (Tickets can be booked online through IRCTC {From - DJ To - DJRZ} & cab waiting charges would be applicable if required)
