Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Delhi-Shimla. (380 Kms /09 Hrs).

    On arrival at Delhi airport/railway station you will be pickup by our tour representative and transfer to Shimla which is a tourist destination is also the capital of the Himachal state. It is situated in the north-west Himalayas. Shimla is often referred to as the "Queen of Hill Stations" (a term coined by the British). It has been blessed with all the natural bounties, one can think of. Shimla, draped in forests of pine, rhododendron, and oak, experiences pleasant summers and cold, snowy winters. The biggest industry in Shimla is hotel, travel and tourism. Bulging at its seams with unprecedented expansion, the town retains a colonial aura, with its grand old buildings. On the way stop for lunch and visit Pinjour garden. According to the Hindu mythology, it is said that it is over here that Pandavas brothers had rested during their exile. On arrival at Shimla check in to your prebooked hotel. Night stay and dinner at Hotel in Shimla

  • Day 2 : Shimla-Naldehra Sightseen

    Morning after getting fresh takes your breakfast at hotel and then at 08:00Am depart to explore shimla sightseen like Naldehra which is a nine hole golf course. It was designed by the British viceroy, Lord Curzon who was so enchanted by this place that he gave his daughter Alexandra, Naldehra as her second name. Ancient Nag temple is also situated here. On the way also visitMashobra surrounded by thick forests and offers ideal walks. Goddess Durga temple is worth seeing there. After visiting Naldehra drive back and the visit Shimla sightseen Viceregal Lodge & Botanical Gardens, Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Jakhoo Temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, this temple is at an altitude of 8048 feet above sea level and is the highest point of Simla, Christ Church & St. Michael's Cathedral the famous landmark church of Simla was built over a span of 11 years (1846-1857) and it’s the second oldest church of northern India. Evening is free for exploring The Ridge a large open space in the heart of town presents excellent view of the mountain ranges, The Mall hub of Simla which runs along the Ridge and is crowded with tourists. It is the city’s most famous shopping center, with shops selling all items, from clothes to junk food. Late evening drive back to hotel. Night stay at Dinner at Hotel in Shimla.

  • Day 3 : Shimla-Manali. (280Kms/9Hrs)

    Morning after getting fresh take your breakfast at then at 08:00Am drive for Manali which is a important hill station and tourist destination of India, Manali offers much in terms of natural beauty such as panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains, flower gardens and orchards with green & red apples etc. On the way visit Pandoh dam which was completed in 1977 and its primary purpose is hydroelectric power generation, Hanogi Mata Temple which is a popular temple attraction. Dedicated to Hango Mata, this Hindu temple is visited by devotees all the year round. Located atop a small peak, green mountains serve as a backdrop for the temple and a gleaming stream flowing below makes this temple a stunning attraction. Vaishno Devi Temple at Kullu is also a famous temple which is dedicated to Hindu Goddess Vaishno Devi. On arrival at Manali check in to your prebooked hotel. Night stay and dinner in hotel at Manali

  • Day 4 : Manali Sightseen

    Morning after getting fresh take your breakfast at hotel then drive to visit manali sightseen visit Hadimba Temple is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, sister of Hadimb, who was a character in the Mahabharata. Goddess Hadimba was the sister of the demon Hadimb who ruled the mountains and was feared by all, Manu Temple which is believed to be the only temple of Manu in India, who is considered as the creator of the human race on earth. Located at a distance of 3 km from the main bazaar in Old Manali, the temple is believed to be the abode of Manu, the ancient law-giver of India, Vashist springs and temple in a tiny hamlet situated on the bank of Beas River that turns towards Rohtang. It is well known for its hot sulphur springs and temples. Taking a dip in this water is considered sacred by many. Nearby is the pyramidal stone temple devoted to Vashist Muni, a revered sage, Nehru Kundis a natural spring in the region. Located at a distance of around 6 km from Manali, it has been named after the late Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru. The Kund has derived its name from Nehru, as he used to drink water from it, on his journey to Manali, The Manali Gompa which serves as an important gathering place for Buddhists from Lahaul, Spiti, Kinnaur, Ladakh, Nepal and Tibet. Built in the 1960s, the new monastery is famous for its wall paintings, Chortens and a large statue of Lord Buddha, Van Vihar which is a municipal garden is situated in front of the Tibetan market on Mall Road. In the lake located within the park, tourists can opt for boating. The park is adorned with big deodar trees. Evening free for strolling on Mall Road and Shopping in local Market. Late evening drive back to hotel. Dinner and night stay in hotel at Manali

  • Day 5 : – Rohtang Pass – Manali. (51Kms/3 ½ Hrs)

    Morning after getting fresh get ready as soon as possible to depart for Rohtang pass. Today seprate vehicle from Manali will be providing to you because there is no permission for outside vehicle to approach to Rohtang pass. On the way visit Kothi which is supposed to be the first village on the banks of Beas river, Gulaba which is considered as a picnic spot and starting point to Brighu lake trekking. The area is filled with beautiful flowers and very calm and pleasant, Rahla Fall which is water fall is from one of the branches of River Beas. The height of the water fall is nearly 50Mts,Marhi is a place as famous as Rohtang pass. Fully covered with snow, all kind of water sports are available. Whenever Rohtang pass is closed due to bad weather conditions, people will be allowed to visit upto this place. Solang Valley which is a picturesque setting, this has good ski slopes end picnic spots. It has the glacier closest to Manali. Today you can do adventure sports most commonly offered are Parachuting, Paragliding, Skating and Zorbing at solang valley and Rohtang Pass. Evening drive back to hotel. Night stay and dinner in hotel at Manali

  • Day 6 : Manali - Dharmshala. (270 Kms / 8 Hrs).

    Morning after early breakfast checkout from hotel and drive for Dharmshala. This is a hill station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar range about 17 kms north- east of Kangra town. This hill station is wooded with oak and conifer trees and snow capped mountains enfold three sides of the town while the valley stretches in front. The snowline is perhaps more easily accessible at Dharamshala than at any other hill resort and it is possible to make a day's trek to a snow-point after an early morning's start. In 1960, when it became a temporary headquarter of His Holiness The Dalai Lama, in has risen to international fame as "The Little Lhasa in India". On the way also visit Palampur Valley and famous Baijnath temple which has been continuously under worship ever since its construction in 1204 A.D. by two local merchants named Ahuka and Manyuka. The two long inscriptions in the porch of the temple indicate that a temple of Siva existed on the spot even before the present one was constructed. The present temple is a beautiful example of the early medieval north Indian temple architecture known as Nagara style of temples. On arrival at Dharmshala check in to hotel.   • Day 7 : Dharmshala Sightseen

    Morning after breakfast drive to explore Dharmshala visit the Kangra Art museum at Kotwali bazar, War memorial which is built near the entry point to Dharamshala to commemorate the memory of those who fought valiantly for the defence of the motherland, Kunal Pathri temple the rock temple of local goddess Durga. In the temple there is stone which remains always wet. andtea gardens on way to Kunal Pathri, Dal lake with natural water body is 11km from Lower Dharamshala connected by motorable road. It is a spot of religious importance, besides, a place of tourist attraction, Bhagsunag temple dedicated to lord Shiva with a fresh water spring. Further, about 1.5 km a path leads to waterfall, which is at its pristine glory during monsoon. The view of unsullied water gushing out of the water fall and the mist emanating from the fall about 20 feet is indeed a delighting experience. Tiny water drops rising in air as a result of fall, taking from the light drizzle sooths one's eyes and mind, McLeod Ganj The Budha temple is situated opposite to the present abode of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama and is worth a visit. The Tibetan Institute of performing Arts (TIPA) is 1km walk from McLeod Ganj and preserves a number of musical dance and theatrical traditions of Tibet. There is also a beautiful Cricket stadium in the city facing mighty Dhauladhar. Evening free for shopping in local markets. Night stay and dinner in hotel at Dharmshala

  • Day 8 : Dharmshala – Dalhousie. (135 Kms /4 Hrs).

    Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and drive for Dalhousie. It is a hill station full of colonial charm that holds lingering echoes of the Raj. Spread out over the five hills (Kathlog, Potreys, Tehra, Bakrota and Balun) the town is named after the 19th century British Governer General Lord Dalhousie. It was popular with the British Army personnel in 1860's. The town’s varying altitude shades it with a variety of vegetation that includes stately grooves of pines, deodars, oaks and flowering rhododendrowns. Rich in colonial architecture, the town preserves some beautiful churches. On arrival check in to hotel. Afternoon drive to explore sightseen St. John church is the oldest one built in 1863, St. Francis was built in 1894, St. Andrew in 1903 and St. Patric in 1909, Panjpulla means five bridges. It is a picturesque spot with water flowing under the five small bridges. A samadhi of Sardar Ajit Singh, uncle of Bhagat Singh, adds to its importance. A small fresh water spring Satdhara is close by. Evening drive back to hotel. Night stay and dinner in hotel at Dalhousie.

  • Day 9 : Dalhousie – Khajjiar day trip. (30 Kms/ 1 Hr).

    Morning after breakfast at hotel drive to visit Khajjiar at 6400 feet from see lavel it is a Mini Switzerland of India with forest glade of great beauty. The lush green meadows are surrounded by thick pine and cedar forests. Grazing herds of sheep, goats and other milch cattle present a prefect pastoral scenery. There is a small lake in the center of the saucer shaped meadow which has in it a floating island. Much of the lake has degenerated into slush because of heavy silting during rains. On the way also visit Kalatope a picnic spot and a wild life sanctury, 10 km from Dalhousie and offers a fine view of the countryside, Bara Pathar 4 km from Dalhousie enroute Kalatope. In village Ahla here, there is a temple of Bhulwani Mata. Dainkund 10 km from Dalhousie. On a clear day this tall peak (2745 m) affords a birds eye-view of the hills, verdant valleys and the Beas, Ravi and Chenab rivers threading their silvery passage down to the plains. Evening drive back to hotel. Night stay and dinner in hotel at Dalhousie.

  • Day 10 : Dalhousie – Delhi. (650 Kms /13 Hrs)

    Morning after getting fresh take breakfast and then checkout from hotel and drive to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi you will be dropped at Airport/Rly station to board your flight/Train for onward journey
