A Festival Tour In The Kingdom Of Bhutan 5 Days/4 Nights Tour

Drive to Airport for onward journey to Paro by Drukair/Bhutan Airlines. -Guests arrive in Paro from Kathmandu flying past the world’s highest peaks. -On arrival- your host shall greet you to transfer you to Hotel in Thimphu. -Check in for your room and refreshments which are all pre-arranged. -Relax for a while before you are invited to a welcome cultural programme of mask and folk dances. -Dinner and over night in Thimphu.

Breakfast at 8.00 AM after a relaxing overnight -Visit the World’s tallest sitting Buddha -Visit the Memorial stupa of the Third King His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. -Visit Bhutan National Post Office to buy stamps- albums- cards- etc -Lunch at Babesa Village Restaurant -Visit a traditional hand-made paper factory. -Visit Trashichhodzong- our national Secretariat house -Dinner and over night in Thimphu

Breakfast at 6.30 am- drive to Paro (1 ½ hrs) for a excursion to Taktsang. -An average walker would take about 5 hrs. uphill and return journey including sightseeing. -Vegetarian lunch served at Taksang cafeteria. -Visit Kitchu monastery- one of the oldest monastery founded in the 7th century. -Visit a farmhouse. The group will spend the evening in a farmhouse where dinner will be served. Clients while at the farmhouse can participate in the preparation of chili cheese dish- momo and buttered tea. -Over night Hotel in Paro.

Attend to the display of the Thongdroel (Thangka) at 4:00am in the morning. Bed tea served at 3:30am- drive to Deyangkha to witness the entire process of the display of Thongdroel. You are welcome to offer butter lamps if you wish to do so. -Return to hotel by about at 7.00 am for a brief sleep upto 9am before you wake up for your breakfast. -Ringpung Dzong built in 1645 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel- the founder of Bhutan. -Return to Deyangkha as it is spiritually last day of the important festival with following programme by central monk body. 1)Dance of the Heroes ( Pacham) 2)Dance of the Ging and Tsholing -Lunch served at 12:30pm in Charo & Dhoro Restaurant 3)Dance of the Eight manifestations of Guru Rinppoche 4)Dance of the sixteen fairies. 5)Dance by the royal troupe of mask and folk dances. -Return to hotel for refreshments and dinner. -Overnight Hotel in Paro

-Drive to the Paro International airport for onward journey by Drukair KB400- depart at 7:10am and arrives Kathmandu at 8:15 am. Company staff shall escort the group to the airport for safe passage.
