Madagascar is a huge island nation off the southeast coast of Africa. The island is home to thousands of animal species – like lemurs – found nowhere else, plus rain forests, beaches and reefs. Near the busy capital, Antananarivo, is Ambohimanga, a hillside complex of royal palaces and burial grounds, as well as the “Avenue of the Baobabs,” a dirt road lined by massive centuries-old trees.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival In Antananarivo

  Arrival at the international airport of Antananarivo. After police immigration and customs formalities, meet and greet with Abana Safaris representative. Proceed to money exchange then transfer to an authentic, elegant and comfortable luxury guest house.
• Day 2 : Antananarivo - Sainte Marie

  Depending on flight schedule, transfer to the airport and fly to Sainte Marie island.
  
  Sainte Marie or Nosy Borahais a narrow granitic island in the east coast of Madagascar. It is composed of a main island and several small islets. Its lush vegetation interspersed with many small villages, the kilometrical sandy beaches shaded by coconut palms, its bays and coves protected by coral reefs have turned this tropical dream island in is one of the most popular beach spots Madagascar has to offer.
• Day 3 : Sainte Marie

  Day at leisure. Possibility of activities: snorkeling, day excursion for whale safari on season(between July and September), discover the story of the island: first roman catholic church, pirate cemetery, etc…
• Day 4 : Sainte Marie

  At leisure. Overnight.
• Day 5 : Sainte Marie

  At leisure. Overnight.
• Day 6 : Sainte Marie - Antananarivo

  Depending on flight schedule, transfer to the airport and fly back to Tana. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
• Day 7 : Antananarivo - Departure

  After breakfast, morning at leisure, city tour and shopping at the famous handicraft market of La Digue, then back to the hotel for a day use of room before another evening transfer to the airport for the exit flight.
