Practical Tips
Packing: 4 season sleeping bag (we can provide on request), headlamp, trekking poles, layered clothing.
Daily walking 4–7 hrs; drink 3–4L water/day; inform guide of any AMS symptoms.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Paro Arrival & Acclimatization

  12:00 – Arrive & check-in.
  16:00 – Short acclimatization walk to Paro town.

  08:30 – National Museum visit; gear check with guide.
  11:00 – Rinpung Dzong; lunch.
  15:00 – Final trek briefing & packing.

• Day 3 : Trek • Paro (Ta Dzong) → Jele Dzong (~3,400 m)

  08:30 – Drive to trailhead; ascend through blue pine forests.
  12:30 – Camp near Jele Dzong; optional ridge walk.
  Meals: B, L, D | Overnight: Camp • Jele

• Day 4 : Jele → Jangchulakha (~3,780 m)

  08:30 – Undulating trail with rhododendron forests; yak herder encampments.
  13:30 – Camp at high meadow; afternoon rest.

• Day 5 : Jangchulakha → Jimilangtsho (~3,880 m)

  08:30 – Traverse ridgelines with Himalayan views (weather permitting).
  13:00 – Camp beside alpine lake Jimilangtsho.

• Day 6 : Jimilangtsho → Simkota (~4,050 m)

  08:30 – Short but higher day; pass small lakes; chance of blue sheep.
  13:00 – Set camp; afternoon acclimatization walk.

• Day 7 : Simkota → Phajoding (~3,650 m) via highest point (~4,210 m)

  08:00 – Cross highest section; descend to Phajoding monastery.
  14:30 – Visit monastery; camp/lodge near monastery.

• Day 8 : Descend to Thimphu • Trek Ends

  08:30 – Forest descent to Motithang; transfer to hotel.
