Amarnath Yatra - One of the holy trinity, Shiva is a living God. The most sacred and most ancient book of India, the Rig Veda evokes his presence in its hymns, Vedic Myths, rituals and even testify to his existance from the dawn of time. Legend has it that Shiva recounted to Parvati the secret of creation in a cave in Amarnath. Unknown to them, a pair of doves eavesdropped on this conversation and having learnt the secret, are reborn again and again, and have made the cave their eternal abode. The annual yatra to Holy Amarnath Cave, situated at 14000 ft. above sea level, is organised by the Jammu & Kashmir State Government during the month of July and August. The intending pilgrims are allowed to perform darshan from Ashard Purnimashi to Shravan Purnimashi which course spreads over a month or so.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Srinagar

  Arrival Srinagar Airport & transfer & Check-In Hotel BROADWAY. Later go visit Mughal Gardens. Return to hotel & Evening at leisure. You can go for Shikara ride on your own in Nagin & Dal Lakes visit - Nehru Garden - Char Chinar - Floating Gardens. Dinner & Overnight in hotel.

  • Hotspots : Dal Lake

• Day 2 : Amarnathji Cave

  Early morning carry Packed Breakfast & proceed to Airport to board Helicopter to Shri Amarnathji Cave. Return in afternoon after performing Darshans. Transfer back to hotel & Rest of the day at Leisure for Personal activities & Relaxation. Explore markets if you so desire. Dinner & Overnight stay in hotel.

• Day 3 : Gulmarg

  After breakfast visit Shankracharya & transfer for Day excursion to GULMARG (55kms & 8900ft. altitude) - enroute visit Tangmarg - Khilanmarg - Arrival Gulmarg & Rest of the day free to enjoy Skiing / Horse Riding / Gondola ride to Apharwat (Alpathar) charges for these to be paid by clients. Return to Srinagar. Dinner & Overnight in Hotel in Srinagar.

  • Themes : Skiing, Horse Riding

• Day 4 : Breakfast at leisure

  Breakfast at leisure & later transfer to Airport for departure.
