Amazing Anini Tour

We will receive you at Airport/Railway Station and transfer youto Roing. You would be driven to ParasuramKund via thebeautiful orange producing town of Wakro (In seasontimeyoucan stop over to enjoy the small town full of Orange Cultivation). It will take about 5 hrs and is 200 km away. At ParasurmKundyou could go down to Kund and absorb the sheer power andbeauty of the crystal clear flowing waters. The whole dayyoucanenjoy the lofty mountains and spent quality time on theriver bank.
This place is also a photographers delight. After tea, wewouldproceed to Roing via Tezu Town and stop by at Bhismaknagar(Itis the oldest archaeological site of Arunachal Pradesh. It canbecalled a ‘Hill Fort’ made of burnt bricks. The fort is situatedat 29kms to the south-east of Roing. The ruins of the Hillfort datesback to Circa 12th century A.D. Bhismaknagar Fort was excavated during 1969-1973, which yielded terracotta plaques, decorative tiles, potteries, terracotta figurines etc. The artefactsthrow light on the rich history of the area.) . Early morning you would proceed to Anini via MayodiaPassandHunli. Mayudia, a unique hill resort, is 56kmfromthe district headquarters of Roing.
Mayodia - It is situated at an altitude of about 7000ft. amidst thelofty hills, lush green forests and breathtaking landscapes. Thearea witnesses snowfall between December and March. Athickcover of snow adds exquisite serenity to the place.
Hunli - There is an interesting cave temple at Kupunli near Hubli. The Motor drive from Roing to Hunli through the well- maintained black-topped road provides thrill and eyecatchingscenic beauty. After reaching Anini you would check-inat thehomestay and rest for the night.

After Breakfast, you would proceed for Mathun Valley, 30kilometres away from Anini town, through which the MathunRiver flows. The Mathun River meets the MIPI River andcreatesabeautiful sight that can be witnessed fromthe MIPI village. Thevillage is 40 kilometres from Anini and during your trip, youwill pass through numerous green grass hills flanked by snowcappedmountains.
After lunch you would venture out for having a grasptotheplace called Anini. It isn’t the sort of place where youmakealistof all the spots you’d like to cover. It’s the sort of placewhereyou let your hair down and immerse yourself in the place. Youtake a walk around the small town, wandering throughthestreets talking to the locals. The best way to enjoy Anini is towalk along the meandering Dri River, admiring the mightyHimalayas tower over the landscape.

Today you would venture out for the Dri Valley. Dri does looklike the ubiquitous destination with green hills and a river through it but it’s so much more than that. Sights of snow-cladmountains and the Dri River carrying the reflections of thosemountains is something out of a fairy tale setting! Dri is anamazing destination for those looking forward to trek intounexplored jungles. The village has an ITBP post beyondwhichtravellers will need to traverse on foot.
